Sorry, Hugh Jackman is currently busy making really bad musicals about abusive circus ringleaders. You'll have to choose between Anthony Hopkins or Peter Cushing' Van-Helsings for the time being.

Where is it established that nip will work against the demons and NegaBreel? Is that an upcoming spoiler?

If anything, I think he would be a Dark/Ghost type. Heck, he even has the same coloring as Sableye who is the only Dark/Ghost Pokemon. (Spiritomb is technically Dark and Ghost, but they are reversed.)

That means that Fairy-types are the only moves that are super-effective against him 2 times. He is immune to Normal, Fighting and Psychic (sorry Tarot!) and Poison only does half-damage.

so going to assume Keene didn't perform a proper blessing on the water to sanctify it and just did something g half-baked if that before dumping t in the super soaker

As it was implied from the dialogue, Keene thought that since he was ordained he was a real priest and could bless the water which would make it holy water to use on NegaBreel.

He’s not even an actual priest, judging from that last line.

I'll bet the online ordination certificate they sent him looks nifty, though......
