Porridge, Paw ridge and eggs for the pups
as the Fox clan overwhelm the kitchen
with ‘grandad’ washing up the cups
and butts being an itch that needs scratching...

Eheh, they're such teasers and lovers. Oh, come on, Fox, you too need to get up from the bed and do your duty of K9 agent. But I admit you know how to hit your Mungo, though. Ehm, are you stroking him with that brush, Mungo? At the end nothing wrong happened, though. Nice complete family having breakfast, and I agree with King about avoid such figures while eating.

Well, Rick did say he wasn’t going to restain things as much anymore. Now we get a level of PG-13 hinting.

Relax. Rick announced he'd take more liberties with side content only. Comic will stay safe. But, staying within the rating, Rick himself liked to play with his fans from time to time...

Moral of the story: Never try to talk Mungo out of going to work or doing work since that is what he is the most dedicated to.

Looney Tunes has this level of flirtatious posing in it. Zootopia had more suggetive poses than this at the Mystical Oasis. "Seductive wiles" are ripe for comedy in even PG films

Edit (apparently I'm not done): Like, this is literally what Rick was talking about. He's not going to sweat these kinds of decisions anymore because there's a pretty clear and obvious line between SWF and NSFW and "suggestive" isn't it. Trying to hold himself to that kind of standard has been really stifling to Rick, so he's not gonna worry himself about what the reactions of the readers might be as long as he knows where his line is
If people are gonna complain about PG level suggestion, then yeah, the only sane option for Rick is stop concerning himself with whether or not he's meeting every reader's expectations

I'm just grateful that he is gonna make the comic again after all this time. The reason why I don't complain is because I worry that if enough people do Rick will just quit making the comic altogether.

To do what Rick does, I'm afraid, requires you to develop a pretty thick hide. Still, I wonder about people who throw acid at an artist's work with the vigor that some people do. I've seen some people who pop up on the forum who pose as if their asking constructive questions but their real purpose seems to be to rip, shred, gouge, complain and throw acid. It's one thing to offer a criticism or a puzzlement but some of these folks have been relentless in their negativity - and in their brush-off attitude towards some of the Mods who want to engage in a constructive examination of the complaints aired. They need to get lives or, with that much venom in their systems, to visit a herpetological surgery specialist.

So, I can only guess at some of the nastiness Rick has to endure on venues I don't see.

Look, over the years, there have been things in the strip that I have enjoyed less than others. Hey, not every M&M is gonna be your favorite color. And there have been a number of disappointments - I won't bore you by repeating them. Am I concerned where he's about to take the comic? Yeah. I've seen many artists change their styles over my lifetime, and most have been challenging for me - and, in the end, most of them have been seriously wondrous. So, let's see whatcha got, Rick ... I can't wait.

I sometimes find myself not enjoying some plots or strips also but I try to stay positive. Like when I learned that Kevin and Sasha were perfect for each other, I shifted my obsessive focus towards Fox. XD
