He did do some stuff. He kept in touch with Tarot when she started her battle with Bailey so that King could find them and intercede.

Hopefully we have a good conclusion to what was in that contract and it was worth it. However I have a feeling that it won't be unfortunately.

Apparently it's so, Tarot, but I really guess that Karishad did a protection to you all, eheh.

...Rick's a great writer, but IMHO going for weeks while doing nothing but dropping vague confusing hints at a resolution, which won't mean anything until that same resolution finally puts them in context is... not great.
Gimme some thought-meat to chew on already. Enough meaningless suspense

That kind of writing is okay in a book where you can just keep reading as long as you want, but in a webcomic, being forced to stop and wait a week for the next page, it can get annoying.

I enjoyed the suspense at first but... that was almost a month ago.

I'm sure Kari did a lot of things - nothing to do with the on-going situation, but I'm sure he DID A LOT OF THINGS !!!

The suspense is unbearable, I hope it will last.

Pacing a webcomic is hard, man. You gotta strike the right balance for engaging at one page at a time for people reading it as it's published and not too hectic for people reading in in chunks in the archive. Even as someone who spent as much time writing as I did once upon a time, I don't think I could manage the trick of it.

I think Rick was managing it well before but the sometimes 1 sometime 2 times a week updates caused him to lose his momentum. Also, I think people are just sick of this arc.

I feel that. Is it wrong that I stopped reading Housepets at around arc 130? It’s a strange mix of fear of finishing it too quickly but also I genuinely find the earlier years of the comic much more entertaining.

Yeah, that seems to describe (the character) Karishad pretty well.

That's fair enough I guess. Wasn't meant as an "oh, I'm gonna stop reading soon"... I still love the world and these characters.
Just hope something will actually happen soon.

If we are to believe what Ylvis said is correct, the fox says a whole lot of things. LOL

I don't think we can use Kari since he is not a normal fox. Which I'm sure many people have noticed by now, XD

I think the joke is supposed to be that Karishad ISN'T a Celestial but he isn't exactly normal either. He is sort of special and mysterious.

You're right. Karishad is an anomaly. Is he a god or is he just a normal fox? I think we aren't meant to know.

I always thought the gag was that he was the actual human Karishad, somehow finding his way into the comic and doing crazy stuff because he knows it’s just a comic and can get away with anything, and since Rick is the author of the comic he gets special “privileges”.

That could be how the gag works also. All I know and from what we all agree on is that Karishad isn't a normal fox.

This reminds me of the scene in Family Guy where Chris is told he is dreaming and he immediately yells "I'm dreaming? YAY, no consequences!" and cuts his arm off with a machete.

That sort of is OBVIOUS and probably expected by most people.

I’m still waiting to see the terms of the contract, and I have my Milli Vanilli record on paw in case something does happen.

Which record did you choose to use against Rick if the contract ends up screwing over Tarot?
