And Keene can count opponents

and has accepted his Camel fate.
Of course it seems to have helped
he’s got himself a Camel mate.
Keene’s going home again
with his saint and some punk.
Heading back for some manic trouble
that’ll get him in a funk...

the new tag for NB is... 'Enby'? What an icon, they updated their pronouns

Known by the company you keep, Keener ... Neg used that line before on Eudoant.
Straw can be better than silk, Thomas, accordin' to who you share it with. Sophia's english is clearly improving.

I’m taking a wager that that was Kar, aka Karishad as a hyena, though I could be wrong.

God I know that panel 5 probably isn't supposed to be coming off like that, but Keene sounds like he is gloating and being obnoxious about it. Somebody please throw a coconut at him.

Or better yet, let Enby get the upper-hand on him for a little while.

I think that was the idea. Keene likes to be in a spotlight. He likes to be the boss. It's his nature.

I think that was the idea. Keene likes to be in a spotlight. He likes to be the boss. It's his nature.

Yeah, gloating is just one of the little things Keene does. Balances off the self-pitying episodes. Flaws make us human, I guess.

And we see again Thomas, who's still at the zoo with the beloved Sofia. Yeah, if now he chooses to become a citizen like the other animals who want that, he's subjected to laws, and he well knows to have done crimes... Keene, he really likes to be there, after all, eheh. Anyway yeah, Breel, it's nice of Keene to give a chance to Thomas, despite what he wanted to do against him... So, Enby is NegaBreel's new name. It's fine, but he's looking too much stereotyped as bad boy. Ferret-toy? Show him who's the boss here, Keene. Ahah, Kar-hyena on the background is having an hard time blocked by females in love.

PS: looks like the coloring of Keene's sunglasses in the penultimate panel is wrong and inverted...

Not identifying genders, their expressions tell me the male hyena is a former human who is not used to being part of a species dominated by women. Maybe a caretaker or visitor who got grabbed by the girls there

I saw a theory on Discord that it might have been a transformed into a mortal Karishad. Now while that would be funny, if he WAS turned into a mortal I am pretty sure he would still be a fox.

Road cast from a traveling drama troupe doing performances of a theatrical presentation of Pridelands? Or not. (Remember Pridelands?)

Safe to say that after Res finds out about some of the world being changed into animals and that there is possibly a few people close to him that are the same species as the characters in the books he might meet up with them to get some more inspiration or maybe ask them to star in the movie adaption.

I know it's being treated like a joke, but I can see this being a weirdly touching story of Thomas realizing that there's only ever been one person in his life who's really cared about him, and it's Sofia. It took losing his humanity to find someone who treats him with basic human dignity.

That does sound beautiful and would love iit if they went down that route with this. But I think this page was meant to be seen as a joke.

I think that was supposed to be intentional so we know that he is still the same consciousness he was back when he was still a dinosaur. However at least in this form he is less evil and murderous.

You know it's a funny coincidence, the thought that was going through my head that prompted me to go check if there was a new update today was that there would be humans who had been turned into animals who wanted to go the opposite direction, and become either wildlife or pets...

...and that's basically the decision Thomas has made here, to become wildlife, rather than attempting to reintegrate into human society as an animal.

As far as everybody knows and what he is telling people, its to avoid prison. However I think that we all can see after this that he really is committed to his beloved Sophia. <3

Also wonder whatever happened to his cousin Celia? (Henry Milton has to at least have 2 siblings since Thomas and Celia are his nephew and niece and they aren't brother and sister.)

It's just sounding out the letters for NB (NegaBreel). It's a nickname Tarot gave to Negabreel on this page:

In any case the change in tag would just be symbolising the fact that he is mortal now, same as with Kitsune's change in name to "Kits" in the tags.

Or it could be that "Enby" is a lot more easier to spell out in tags than "Nega Breel".

Of course Rick is too chicken to go with the obvious solution and just have his tag be the full “Negative Breel”, dwarfing all other tags and causing system errors. And he should write it out every single time, never copy and pasting. I’m a genius, give me the rights to Housepets!
