Though I am thinking that when he was homeless that Joel just snuck into bathrooms rather than going outside. Especially if it was to do a number 2.

I think Pete just wanted to humiliate him as much as he can by forcing him to go to the bathroom in the yard. Wouldn't surprise me if Pete brought attention to it and had everybody watch it.

He's totally trying to get him to submit to Pete by breaking his spirit. x3

If Pete had just stayed there a little bit longer then he might have gotten King to do that. I forget the reason he suddenly disappeared though and don't know which strips all of this happened. <_<

Pete 'disappeared' because he was hauled into Heavenly court for abusing his powers during The Game, and having Joel/King as his avatar without consent.

Good thing that they did it at that point because I am pretty sure Pete was so close to destroying King mentally. Though I do wish that Heaven would have acted faster but then again we wouldn't have seen Joel suffer needlessly for the crime of kidnapping Fox.

Time for that old chestnut about the wheels of justice grinding slow and fine........

Though Kitsune did however offer King an incredible wondrous easy life to make up for the suffering that Pete put him through. Though in the end he chose to stay with his true love Bailey.

Romance won again.

It was also Pete's downfall in the end too. As he didn't understand just what great lengths that King would go to for his wife and vice-versa with Bailey.

Though some of them do want what mortals have even if they don't understand it as Dragon developed a crush on Peanut which was why she maneuvered Tarot to become his girlfriend.
