Poor HoundInATree is going to be even more behind, figured I would wait for them and / or Gael since there is no need to even go at a normal pace on my part. I suppose I can get a reply up.

Must be the Twilight Zone because I swear this routine already happened. Think I am still waiting for, I don't know actually.

No one has posted in Sunset Plateau since March. Shall we keep trying to save it or let it die?

Re: HPU: Sunset Plateau OOC
Rough, seems like it would be wise to let this story go to rest. I really enjoyed the time spent here. With that, what a time it has been, I dissipate.

Re: HPU: Sunset Plateau OOC
Should I not try to hop in then? If it's time to let this one rest...
Love me right now! Done.

Re: HPU: Sunset Plateau OOC
Gael says they're still interested. So me, Gael, Welshie and Leaf, that makes 4 regulars which is enough. 5 if we count Civ who comes and goes depending on when they can get internet access.
I think it's worth one last try. Anyone else agree?

Yup. Zachary wants a book!
Re: HPU: Sunset Plateau OOC

Re: HPU: Sunset Plateau OOC
Sorry this took so long, ended up sick this last week and I just got my head back in order.
And a not-quote color sample just to see the color on its own.Character Name: Calista Alderink
Color: #6a5f40
Type: Main
Species/Breed: Sphynx (Cat)
Age: 16 pet years / 4.5 human years
Neighbourhood: Sunset Plateau
~~Appearance~~
As a sphynx cat, Calista is entirely without fur. She tends to have a padded collar that doesn't irritate her skin to help with it, and circular plastic tags that were printed without any details on them. Her fur would have been predominantly white, evidenced by her pink skin, but patches where black fur would have grown are evidenced by dark as opposed to pink skin. One can find the patches of dark skin covering the left half of her head from around her left eye up, covering her hands, a large spot at her lower back, and a little bit at the end of her tail.
~~Personality~~
Prone to rushing into things, and always looking forward to whatever's next, Calista is a lighthearted and playful individual before much else, and probably to the relief of others never takes herself too seriously. Perhaps she will give anything her all, but she also refuses to let herself become upset over the trivial things. Enjoys horror movies and sour candy, but will absolutely give a stranger some of her tuna and call them her newest best friend.
~~Misc. Notes~~
Due to her lack of fur, she tends to be seen in a full outfit of sweater, snow pants, snow coat, boots, gloves, and hat during the winter.
Occasionally gets sunburns as well, in spite of her best efforts.
Her favorite toy is a giant fuzzy pillbug plush that she keeps near her bed.
~~S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats~~
- Strength: 5
- Perception: 4
- Endurance: 7
- Charisma: 8
- Intelligence: 7
- Agility: 6
- Luck: 5

Re: HPU: Sunset Plateau OOC
No problem! Looks good to me! Hop on in!
Does her tag actually say [placeholder] or could you just not decide what to put? I like the idea of it being placeholder for the humour

Re: HPU: Sunset Plateau OOC
I filled out everything else and forgot I wrote "[placeholder]" in the description for her tag while sick, waiting to recover so I could actually think...
... and then just assumed I'd filled it in and left it as "[placeholder]".
But now I want to have some super generic stock tag to make the mistake a reality, and I'm not sure if I should go for it. It's either that, or a horror movie inspired tag.

Re: HPU: Sunset Plateau OOC
Go for it. It's like I never intended to call my character 'Zachary' but, as I was thinking of a certain Rabbit when I wrote it, I put the wrong name in. Now it suits him.

Re: HPU: Sunset Plateau OOC
Going for the library for even character distribution then. Sorry it's taken as long as it has for me to get going.

Re: HPU: Sunset Plateau OOC
I might be reading Scotty's reaction wrong, but the way it's written strikes me as if I didn't properly hint that her hat has ear holes, and it's been assumed that she actually is I wearing a cat-ear hat. Been puzzling over that, and I finally thought, "would she even wear a cat-ear hat?"
And yeah, I immediately followed that thought with "She absolutely would. She'd wear a cat-ear hat with ear holes."
And that's why I gave her one in this new post, because the hat was vague, and now it's very interesting.

Re: HPU: Sunset Plateau OOC
I've been giving myself the excuse on waiting for the other two of our half of the party to see if they would do anything during my long lapses of being able to post nowadays. That and I have no idea how to literally say yes and give something to reply to that isn't just, well, "Yeah."

Re: HPU: Sunset Plateau OOC
It's, still an adventure, exhausting some of the time. Have been spending some time hunkering down and enjoying and helping a local gaming store that had just opened up the start of last year. Other than the usual seeing the sights and experiencing the weather been trying to keep up with how Housepets and the RPs have been going. Really want to see this one keep going.

Re: HPU: Sunset Plateau OOC
I'll apologize, as the much slower posting speed compared to when I was first around has hit me a bit. I've been trying to wrench myself into the flow of it now, but it's been a process. I think I've finally started to get my head into the new speed and will get back to posting.
