"RettOtter" is a portmanteau of your full username, and it has that sort of viral magic to it. But if you would prefer we just call you Retto, we will oblige.

So... not really a furry (I know, boo, hiss), definitely not a pokemaniac, but I've got to admit Housepets has more compelling story arcs and more believable characters than the last several books I've read.

I work in a library where the patrons are inordinately fond of trashy vampire romances, trashier romances ranging from the eras of Early American Colony to Western Expansion and crime or thrillers in modern settings, ~~but at least there's this one gray dog who likes to check out classics~~. I spend far too much time online pretending that sufficient networking will land me a real job, so I'll probably be around a lot.

Yes, I can see there's definitely no shortage of friendly faces. (Trust me, if I'd honestly expected being merely human to cause a lot of grief, I would have simply neglected to mention it.)

I have my reasons for not feeling my library job is a 'real' one. I'll leave it at how it's not a living wage for now, since there's no reason to be a downer in a welcome thread.

Obsession? More like dedication if you ask me!

Anyways, I'm an amateur artist and writer, and decided to join the Housepets! community here considering how small the fanbase is on DeviantArt and Fanfiction.net (unless they're just hiding from me...

)

I'm very much into making some friends here, I mean we already have one mutual interest, who knows, we may have more?
