It's going to teach him how to be a dog, so he can respect dogs, meaning he'll be a better human after he gets turned back.

Though one could argue that shots could be involved in anything, especially in a world where pets (and most animals?) walk and talk. I mean, any sort of surgery without anesthesia? Yikes.

Judging by the pain stars, I can say that he got an intramuscular injection. Injection. That's a shot, isn't it? English might not be my first language, but I can't see how a "shot" can refer to a surgery.

Also, intramuscular means in the butt, basically.

You know, even if it is painful, it lasts only for 3 seconds, since you fall in coma.... Actually, it took me seconds. The doctor asked me to count to 10 on German, and I remember saying "fÃ¼nf"....

King hasn't done anything yet, (being aggressive, excessive marking, leg humping, being disobedient, ect.) to warrant getting snip snipped.

That would be epic as...something that is epic.

But seriously, not so much fight, but just play. The squeaky bone is not a bad idea. Small dogs sometimes do have tendency to keep up their strength with big dogs. Those short legs can come quite in handy when digging into the ground for support.
