So it's used to being cold. I really wouldn't be worried about Peanut freezing, it's nothing for him. I'd be more worried about Grape... she'll have to stay in the house with him. No naps for her!

I imagine they'll end up napping together like in the end of the vet arc.

I wonder if we'll see Fox in this arc. We haven't seen him, nor King for that matter, in a long time, and it's in his nature to like this much snow. He's a husky, after all.

I doubt someone could make a personal appearance in this snow. The only way i could see someone getting into the house when snowed in is probably the second floor if the snow is dug up that high.

I would take it if the power at their house isn't out there mightbe a possibility for phone or computer chat from someone, but i'm largely expecting it to be strictly Peanut and Grape. call me surprised if someone outside the family makes an appearance somehow =P

We might still see pets like King and Fox. Just not likely seeing each other or Peanut and Grape. They're likely snowed in themselves.

I think we'll only see King when the winner of the sequel of "All the King's Men" contest is chosen.

Valerio... are you suggesting that Office Bill is Chuck Norris? And that Fox is the pet of Chuck Norris? If that's that case, I seriously need to find a dimension where this comic exists and go there :D

I still think that the first panel of this comic is a hint that Peanut and Spot are one and the same. Just separated by alternate dimensions. That is a cape, and Peanut is pretending that it is a blanket.

Wait... If the neighborhood lost power and the snow is that high, how is their light in their house?

Are they using their generator?

Wait a minute Tarot is Psychic shouldn't Peanut just be able to mentally contact her to have her come over; if its even possible for her to get over to the house with all the snow.

Well she could use her powers to move the snow. She has used Telekinesis before when finding the remote.

She was using her powers to find the remote, not move it. She might be able to teleport into their house, though.

she could even use them to restore power to all the houses, but that would require real world logic

But she was moving things around the room to find it hence she was using Telekinesis which she could use to move the snow out of the way.

Peanut is so illogical right now he suggests IM'ing his magical, telepathic girlfriend. Right after seeing the cell phone that clearly works.

I had a double-take because everything looks pretty well lit. Compare to houses with the lights out:

http://www.housepetscomic.com/2010/10/1 ... or-chumps/

Actually, I just remembered, it's probably daytime. I would probably expect a less-warm and slightly darker color, though...

Peanut is definitely becoming cuter and more refined (other characters too but Peanut stands out most to me). Compare the last two years of Peanut, in chronological order, most separated by about 2-6 months or so, especially the first panel (I would suggest switching between tabs):

Methinks that's a textbook case of Art Evolution.

Also yay! Silly Peanut! By the end of the day Grape might just finally loose her sanity! :D Or they'll just end up snuggling in front of a fire. I'm good with either of those options, should be fun to watch!
