So now the teams are fair...

Let there be War!

Or in this case, Dungeons and Dragons. i'm so calling it. Tarot feels like a D&D RPing character. Priest/Cleric specifically.

 Tarot's funny--and yet that makes sense that he was only "going" to call her just then and that's when she foresaw it, rather than foreseeing it considerably earlier....

I do feel for Peanut in this one, though--I hate being left out of things too.... :(

Ah,yes. Peanut being left out. I have to admit this got me wondering about Max a little bit, but hoping for the best.

Although i find it cute at the same time that Grape seems to be putting alot of attention on Max lately, i also wonder if Max will do something to make it up to Peanut for the attention he's taking up? Not only would it look better on him for Grape, but i'm sure Max can get along with Peanut alot better than most dogs.

only time will tell ;)

This is so cute :). I wonder if Tarot will play with them, or maybe she's too mature for these games. Maybe she'll want to do something else with Peanut, like playing card games. Although Peanut would lose every time >_>.

Imagine her knowing absolutely everything you were going to do and being unsurprised constantly, in a kind of blunt and cutely faux-innocent way.

...Or at least that's how I see it! She would totally ruin the narrative because isn't it obvious that the sheriff is in love with the deputy's wife?

I doubt that she can read other pet's minds. If so, she'd know what Peanut thinks about Grape, and she wouldn't be with him.

Either that, or Peanut doesn't have feelings for Grape :P.

I direct your attention to this strip, second panel. Tarot does know about Peanut's feelings for Grape. She's sticking around so that he has someone to be with.

Also, just because she can see the future doesn't mean she'd use it to cheat at games.

I meant more predicting the plays that they're acting out, or if they play parlour games basically cheating in them, and so on.

Or else she knows what Peanut feels about Max and is there to kind of alleviate that..? Argent got there first

Depends on whether or not she can volitionally control to receive visions.

Best worst movie clip ever!

It's hard to argue with Tarot's logic here, but it's still funny. It will be interesting to see what kind of effect her powers have on the game, and the overall mood of the gooey sweet couple. I wonder if her and grape will wind up getting into a fight before the arch is over. Or, I suppose I should say, I wonder if Grape will wind up going off on her while she stands there stoically speaking of hidden truths and wisdom. But who knows, maybe Tarot will end up saying something to remind Grape that she should be more mindful of Peanuts feelings and they'll all be friends again. But I'm leaning toward the yelling/stoic outcome :P

Tarot's timing makes sense to me.

IF... she showed up too early, Peanut would have been confused and since she was already there, he wouldn't have wanted to call her so she wouldn't have seen anything... probably.

IF... she showed up too late it wouldn't have made any sense to see anything at all, he just calls her and asks her to come over in a very mundane way.

Anyway, I can't help but wonder, if Grape did actually admit feelings for Penut, where would Max turn, to Tarot?!!! Could we be looking at a fourth interspecies relationship going on? (second is Joey/Squeak, Fido/Sabrina is third :P )

Considering "Last Iliad" Rick seems to like old-egyptian mythology.

Guys, this is the part where Maxwell falls head-over-heels in love with Tarot, clearing the way for Grape and Peanut to become a couple.

Also... uh... it's actually "Last Ennead." *glances over shoulder*

Ah, okay, sorry.

But I am certainly wondering what direction this is going, because Grape doesn't strike me as the type who would do this to Peanut, not on purpose. Max I haven't seen as much of but I haven't known him to be mean, certainly.

Methinks that Grape is being just a bit doe-eyed for Max and maybe a little insensitive to Peanut's needs; in her defense, however, Peanut is a little thin-skinned, and she still doesn't know how he feels about her.

Sinder, unfortunately, is still Sinder.

Peanut is a bit on the oblivious side too given that everyone else around him already knows about the whole puppy love thing (pun unintended shut it) and he doesn't even know that they know. I'm not surprised that he is easily upset over it.
