From this I'm going to assume you were joking about being short... 5'7 isn't that short, unless everyone you know is pretty tall, and 5'11 isn't short at all.

Shoe size: 10 1/2 to 11
Weight: 210 lbs.
height: about 5'10

and in case Sleet's answer is giving anyone trouble, a conversion site

and unless I'm wrong, a job fair is a place you go full of companies looking to hire. it's useful if you need a job.

As short as I am... I'm even lighter than I should be for my size. I'm 116 pounds at the most. Just about everything on me is small... my hands, my height, my shoe size, my weight... but I like to think that Bruce Lee was the same way. ;3

Which you have done before, If I recall correctly, Housedog.

And metric makes it easier for the international forumites, of which there are many.

Alex M., Shadowhaz, Jopen, YingBlanc, Kyderra, Medli, Tobee, Coatl_Ruu, Karlos, Valerio, Stu, Aaron, Andrea do I need to go on?

There are enough foreign forumites for it to be a good idea to use metric.

A fair number of the regular Chatters are up there, you'll notice. ;)

Anywho, do you know what is going to be at that job fair, Housedog?

I wish I could have worked in a fast food joint when I was in high school. My awful sinuses make it impossible for me to work in the food service industry, so I didn't get a job until I was 19. It was front desk at a dog grooming business. I loved it...

The first job I has was working with kids as an aftercare worker... I couldn't figure out why they called me mister, and then I realized I was at least 10 years over them. The food industry was never my cup of tea. I like electronics a lot though.

History is my second least favorite subject. after a certain point, you're learning things you'll never have reason to know in a situation in which you can't look it up online. Literature is worse. never will I use an in depth analysis of the morality of Dorian Gray.

Both the subjects aren't designed for application, but personal growth that leads to breakthroughs in the applicable sciences and other subjects. So they're important, just not exteriorly. Just like some maths are designed to teach you to think logically but can be used in real life situations to solve problems in a previously unknown way. I can't say I like history all that much for the dates to remember, but I love the little interesting quirks I learn about in the documentaries and such... mostly through the History channel.

Yeah, I also hope that I could muddle through it. Anything else ..... I've got my P.E. so there'll be again more than hour of playing basketball

Well, I don't know, but I've got yesterday evil day, so I think it's almost impossible that today could be worst.

Box O Lions wrote:I can't say I like history all that much for the dates to remember
And this is what I can't understand, why they learn us dates. Alphabet was invented to write this kind of things, to not remember them and if you want, you can always check them. I know sequence of events, but I can't remember most of dates. It's almost same like with geography and that I need to learn where are some things like lakes, peaks and this kind stuff, about which you will never hear again, but you need to put it on the map. We invented cartography to not need to learn it and check when we need to know where exactly it is.
