I was invited into my college's local chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, so that's a good thing at least.

Random news of the day:

I just found out via devaintart that one of my favorite artist monty oum (http://montyoum.deviantart.com/)
is now working at rooster teeth (with is knows mainly for red VS blue halo machinima)

This might not be interesting for most of you, but he did make some very great animation video's by himself, and I am very curios as to what he might be making for them :)
you can see his video of Dead fantasy and Haliod here:

If you are having trouble connecting to the internet, it could be:

• Your network card drivers are bad. Go to Device Manager (Right click "My Computer" in your start menu or desktop, then locate Device Manager in the top left corner of the window that pops up and click on it. If you are using Windows XP, go to the hardware tab and find Device Manager there. In device manager, expand the Network Adapters list. Right click on your network card and click update driver. Hopefully, there is some recent driver that fixes a problem with your card.

• Your router or modem is faulty or is not receiving signal. When the problem occurs again, go and check to see if those devices are receiving signal (usually indicated by a flashing green light under the text "Internet"). If you notice that the modem isn't getting signal, call your Internet Service Provider and complain. If only your router has no signal, it might be broken (which is a typical occurrence).

• You have dial up or satellite internet. The solution to this is to pray to a higher god that there is Cable or DSL service in your area, then immediately switch over to one of those.

Is it just me, or is Rick more cheerful then usual this week?

- He is postings almost 4X the amount on the forums, in random sections.
- He has a new avatar
- The comic arc line is the most awesome yet
- He is still rubbing himself in Dylan money

... o wait, that last one might explain it.

Well, they did develop/publish Crysis, Need for Speed, Spore, and all the classic Sims games (SimCity, The Sims, etc) to name a few.
So that's not entirely true ;).

EA usually don't care about making original addon. They can just add a new hat to The Sims 3 and give us a new addon: "the Sims3: The HAT".

Writing an omegle bot! :P Will make it survey people and generate stats.

Anyways... Just in case if anyone is wondering why i post so little(or about my signature). I've been having computer issues(long story short, primary pc is dead(fried mainboard) and I'm forced to use my server to do anything). So I cant really spend as much time here as I could before until I get a replacement. :(

Also, every time my signature is loaded(here and at other forums) it(long story short) makes my arduino beep and blink a light. At every hit. :P Just for fun.

So if I constantly click on your signature... it will make noises and lights will blink from your server.
Never knew I could annoy someone else by following a link.

That's not something we usually admit to!

Anyway, Spring is in swing (unless you live in the wrong place) and temperatures are warming up (again, this may not apply to everyone). What is everyone's opinion of shorts and other warm-weather gear?

I wish I had thought to prepare some for today. Geez, temperature and humidity are through the roof.

firstly, it was snowing when I went out a few minutes ago (this probably doesn't apply to most people).

secondary, my thoughts on shorts...hehe, I prefer long jeans and long sleeve shirts for my spring area. This probably doesn't apply to eavryone in my area though.

Actually the CPU is damaged too(overheated from failed overclock >_> poor little 1.5ghz thing doesn't satisfy me XD). We decided to get a whole new laptop. The backlight on the screen of the old one is screwed too. >_< Too bright.
edit: and yeah - a little home server and another one, newppg. A paid one. Thanks to a friend.

~10 or more hits from the same IP within ~10 seconds gets you IP banned. :P All requests from that IP will then be ignored.
