maybe. I think the cause is that Housepets is so awesome, it inspires those who wouldn't normally join a forum to join.

Same here, Sleet. I like the layout here and most importantly, I like the people. I've met so many friends from this forum it's ridiculous. Three of them Stan out more than others, but two of the three should be pretty obvious.

My Military-nut senses are tingling from the wrong-ness.

For sure, the first word on the banner, and the SEAL thing is wrong. The top emblem is also wrong. The Eagle on the SEAL Teams emblems is always holding a Flintlock handgun of sorts. The lower emblem is, well, the red on the left eye would not be there if it was true.

I don't know about Tennessee, but Arkansas only requires renewal every four years. If you meant vehicle registration, that's relatively easy and not horribly time-consuming (assuming you arrive with all your paperwork filled out and ready to go!).
