I sure as heck hope you don't use skype if you're doing 25man raids!

That would just be crazy xD

Nah, more like people were having connection issues, and easy fights that should have been one shots were just a mess. Wiped on H Chim of all things. Twice.

Should probably leave this to the video game thread though, or mister Dissension will come yell at us!

HEY GUYS, DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THE NEW MODERN WARFARE 3 TRAILER.
But in all seriousness, the campaign looks decent this run through. Although, some of the new weapons make me wanna rip my hair out. (IE: Taticool Winchester Model 1887 Lever-Action 12 Gauge Shotgun, Kel-Tec KSG Bullpup Shotgun, ect.), and I wanna see how bad they mess it up. Here's the trailer:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coiTJbr9m04

And being the military nut that I am, I hate how they imply that Russia has decent Force-Projection capabilities. Even during the USSR, they were pretty bad.

If the AK-47 can be unlocked in a decent level, I'll get MW3.

AK47, one of the greatest guns that resisted the test if time. That being said, highest level was a bit too far.

It was the highest level because players wanted it and they wanted to dangle a carrot. Not because it was better than the other guns.

as of the AK, I guess that makes sense. Still, I've never hit level 70 yet. I just played the first game instead. xD

I have prestiged in Modern Warfare 2 three times.

It really helps to have friends with CoD addictions living across the hall when you're the only one with an Xbox 360.

The AK47 is a terrible weapon. On fully automatic, on a high-grade Russian model, the range is only 60 yards. 70 on semi-auto, and thats pushing it.

That being said, CoD is a video game, and most video games are about as realistic as bananas talking while being deep fried.

AK-47 doesn't get jammed. Even under extreme circumstances. There's probably more chance of being shot by lightning then your AK getting jammed. That said, it's also a cheep gun to manufacture. Lastly, it feels like a gun, that increased moral in soldiers. I guess one can also say it's also really easy to operate.

AK-47 is an amazing gun. Not to mention it was designed around the end of WWII. That's almost 70 years ago, and it's still a gun people use quite often. It is a great gun, that has withstood the test of time.

with that being said, you might as well also mention how shotguns have a far greater reach in the real world as well.

Very true my friend, very true. However, it may be reliable, easy to use, and cheap-for its time. It was an absolutely wonderful weapon, and something I would have adored to use. Now, we have weapons like the M14 series, and the Mk.16/Mk.17(SCAR-L and SCAR-H) weapons that beat it in everything but the cheap category. For civvies in the US Market, the SCAR-L runs 2k.

Although, with the Shotguns thing, I thought that was a given.
(Sorry if I came off rude in this or my previous post. Sometimes, I try to make them sound a bit.. kind, but sometimes no matter what, I come off like a jerk)

hehe, you know honestly, thanks to video games I kinda assumed all shotguns had no range for a long time. I'm more educated now though. ^^

(your 1 wrong was saying my fav' weapon was terrible. Nothing wrong with that, just me being a little sensitive and wanting to defend it.. Just ask any of my IRL friends. I like that gun far too much after watching a documentary on it xD)

love the ACR. I still, for some reason, think it's an English gun just because the Brits use it on a few of their missions. If that's right, then I'll be happy.

Actually, no military uses the ACR, suprisingly. However, the SAS do use M4A1s for some of their ops. Before I found that out, I thought they used the H&K L85A2 rifles.

ok, that is quite surprising. Even more surprising considering I think the ACR was a better gun in that game. I don't know much about the H&K L85A2 rifles though, sadly.

Want to hear a really sad thing about me? I had no idea the famus was burst fire and automatic until black ops was released.

It actually has the S-1-F Trigger group, and it is one of the worst Assault Rifles ever invented. I have a US Marine Force Recon friend. According to him, its even worse then M16A1(And we all know about 'Nam, and the horror stories of that variant of the weapon, although it was attributed to the powder used in the ammunition, but I digress). I'm suprised the French haven't replaced the FAMAS with something... alot better.

Modern Warfare 3? Meh, no thanks.

Black Ops and MW2 killed the multilayer for me. So I'm not going to waste 60 dollars just for its single player. Nope, Battlefield 3 for me.

I suppose I could just sell it as soon as I finished the single player, but meh.

Just curious, what's wrong with the multiplayer? I mean, I do find the original MW has the best, but with that being said I still enjoy MW2s. Not as fond on black ops though.

(also, I'm more of a fan of the Infinity Ward games. Just letting you guys no)

It's just too random, and I barely ever do good, unlike in Bad Company 2, where in my most recent game, I went 24 and 2. Huge difference from CoD.

I know I prefer Halo online anyway, but interesting. I've not noticed a massive difference between Battlefield and Cod's online as well. I mean, obviously different gameplay and stuff, but I still get the same feelings towards both.

Oh man you guys, Portal 2 is getting good. (I'm a little late; sue me.) I really like how they managed to vary up the "support" characters rather than just sticking with GLADoS or a replacement the whole time.

I'm sure most of you don't follow SC2 at all, but this weekend...this MLG has been PHENOMENAL for SC2.

Opening match of the entire weekend was amazing by both players. And right now is a rematch of that. I'm soooo excited for this. The smile on my face couldn't be bigger, nor the hype for the match better. Trash talk on both sides.

I soooo wish I could have been there live!

Top 8 I believe. Or at least, almost made it to lower bracket finals. He ended up losing to MC, who went to face Idra in(almost) lower bracket finals. These brackets confuse me, lol.

Idra, of course, decided it was the best time to choke and went down 0-4 to MC. MC asked him, in their final game, if he was angry. It was hilarious.
