I TOTALLY knew that you were doing that carnival/circus music. Entrance of the Gladiators. Or Yakkety Sax. But that quotes Entrance of the Gladiators so that doesn't count.

why would I do that? I'm an open book.
also, I think it's called sampling in reference to music, not quoting.

Sampling is when you directly copy the sound. Quoting is when you play a melody or something.

it may not be sampling, but I'm pretty sure it's not quoting. I don't think there is a word for it.

I was talking with my Dad earlier about how I didn't really like to go anywhere on July 4th because it was always busy. He pointed out how it tends to rain as well.
A thunderstorm just started, not 30 minutes after they all left. I found that incredibly amusing.

I like the boardwalk. I don't like swimming or heat or sand, so I don't like the actual beach much.

Heat is fine when there's water. Swimming isn't the best. But sand! I love making sand castles! <3

In quicksand, you are advised to float.
last time i was at the beach, we planned on making a really deep hole right by the water, but not very big around. So it would basically look like a puddle. As a bonus, when the water level rose over it, someone might have fell in it. However, we only got it about three feet deep.

How so? So long as it is an appropriate temperature and you don't go very far below the water, swimming in sand is delightful

That's a great idea in theory, but considering the nature of sand it's likely to cave in, meaning the only way to make it deeper is to make it wider.

no.
by that logic, the entire ocean is quicksand. just a big hole of water with sand at the bottom and surrounding it.

True. Humm but to swimm in SAND wouldn't you need a very high sand to water ratio?
