I listen to just about everything unless there is a ukulele then I want to break wherever the noise is coming from.
Stuck in my head though between theses two alter bridge ghosts of days gone by or sixx a.m. lies of the beautiful people.

What's wrong with ukulele? Tiny Tim is a musical genius!
Also: Trivium is not a good band. *shakes head* (Apologies to any Trivium fans.)

*giggles* I only saw an opening show by them. I didn't like it but I'm not gonna judge them by it.44R0NM10 wrote:matter of oppinion. Personally, I like Trivium. Dying in your arms was one of my fav' songs for a time.
I think they played that song, and it was probably my favorite out of the seven or eight they played.

Either the maximum age for kids has gone up, or electronic music is around for longer than I thought....Tiggy wrote:Seth wrote:you crazy kids with your electronic music.......

Re: Music.
It's been around since Vinyl. Quite a long time indeed. (Most people just don't know that and assume it popped up in the past 5-10 years).

Re: Music.
It's gone up since nerds realized they could make music without learning an instrument or making friends.

Re: Music.
You mean since it became easier to do so, due to more software available for free/Pirate (which I don't suggest), and the cost of creating it went down as well (Via free samples and other similar things. Drum sounds, etc). I hope.
Otherwise, you're just talking about something you have no idea about. And making blanket statements in an insulting manner. You have to KNOW music to make it. Whether it's knowing a single instrument or just knowing how rhythm and time works, and how to make it sound good.

Re: Music.
I wasn't suggesting the genre was easy and required no talent to do well; the amount of musical knowledge Daft Punk, for example, has is borderline disgusting. I was only suggesting that the genre now is easy and requires no talent to do in the first place thanks to our technology. And when people try to be good at a genre they think they can handle, they get more interested in listening as well. Music is more popular when it makes people think "I can do that!" Even if they really can't because it's a lot harder than they think.Daggy wrote:You mean since it became easier to do so, due to more software available for free/Pirate (which I don't suggest), and the cost of creating it went down as well (Via free samples and other similar things. What you said there is far different than the somewhat insulting sounding tone your first post had, which led to my response : /
Easy to get into due to a lot more software/hardware making it easier I can agree with.
ANYWAY, here's a song from a guy that I've come to really enjoy over the past week.

My personal favorite, however, is either We Rock or Don't Talk to Strangers. I recommend you listen to them, they're awesome
Re: Music.
I like that song too. I like most of the Ten Album, but Vintage was good too.Daggy wrote: I prefer this. Even Flow is good though. :3
I knew this. I don't mean to be all hipster, but electronic music back in the day wasn't all that bad. Definitely not my preference, though.Daggy wrote:It's been around since Vinyl. Quite a long time indeed. (Most people just don't know that and assume it popped up in the past 5-10 years).
and some 80's Thrash Metal.
My favorite album and by Metallica, IMO far better than Master Of Puppets.
Re: Music.
I actually had some Metallica stuck in my head while I was walking to class this Wednesday. It confused me because the songs don't tend to be catchy. Though, now I'm forgetting which it was. =(

I agree, RtL was definitely better than MoP.Kitela wrote:and some 80's Thrash Metal.

Also, My Friend of Misery is really catchy.
