It won't be a real Christmas if we don't send Sleet real cars!
Come on folks, I know you all are made of money. I can't wait to see the look on her face when he walks to the street and sees a pile of 35 cars, each of them with those giant novelty bows on top that nobody ever buys but commercial writers can't go without.

Oh Pea, you and your Back to the Future references. On a related note, the third one is okay, and I am sick of people saying its bad.

The sequels are an interesting case. First off, and I've said this before, they're both much better when you watch them in immediate succession (it also feels much less like a Two Part Trilogy, you're welcome Leafolawl).

But anyways, they're interesting in their relationship, tonally, thematically, plotwise, to the first. Instead of following a linear path of departure from the first film (where the third and first are the most dissimilar, with the second bridging the gap) as you might expect, they both are similar to the first film, but less so to each other.

The second film takes the rootin'-tootin' time travellin' intrigue from the first and runs with it, and it's a bit sillier and over the top than the first one was. It plays well, don't get me wrong, but when you compare it to the first film, the second does seem to raise the stakes and spectacle quite a bit.

The third film swerves back, however, and lands on the other side of the original. It expands on the idea of time travel being used to showcase a period, and also on the dramatic plots of the first. It's not that bad, but it's jarring coming out of the second film. I personally think the only major problem with it is that Clara is a wasted character, they could have made her really interesting, but they seem to have thought that they didn't have the time, or maybe the actress just wasn't selling it well, I dunno.

But yeah, I think the main reason people dislike III is that it overdoes the pathos where II overdid the spectacle. Still good movies, but hey.

If you're still curious about my thoughts on the films (which I'm sure you are), I'm on the fence as to which sequel I prefer. I used to say III, but I think I was being unnecessarily harsh on the second one for being "unrealistic" (because, you know, Back to the Future has always run on pure unfiltered reality). Honestly, I think better than either of them as a whole is that one scene towards the end of II with the Western Union man. That might be the best scene of the series.

I realize nobody asked for a dissertation, but that's what you get for providing me the opportunity to talk about Back to the Future.

Generally speaking, when I ask people to buy a car as an impulse purchase to give someone who says they don't want any gifts, you can assume I'm being facetious.

Back to the Future II and Halloween II I think are in the same boat, while not being as good in my opinion as the first one, it is better when combined with the first to sort of make one long movie. Halloween III however is un-connected to the rest of the films and is my favorite Halloween movie of all and Back to the Future III is, well I don't know. It just feels weird when I watch it because its so different from the first two. Its good in the same regard as H 3 because its different but where H 3 is good for this reason, I think Back to the Future III just feels off. But it is good they tried new ideas and for that I like it.

Well you see son, he signed his soul away by bringing up a particular topic. But he does have the ability to earn it back. The specifics are between us however.

I have had many enemies in the past, now I have one not including my friend/greatest enemy Redmarker 97. I knew this guy named Sean, and every day Sean would make fun of me because I was the fat kid who had no friends, well I started hitting the gym and I built up a good amount of muscle, and one day he just got me on the wrong day. I punched him in the chest hard enough he fell back over a desk and had a nice bruise for a couple weeks. I was promptly suspended but after that only my friends would mess with me, because they are on my good side. See Tensa, I had enemies but most of them actually fear me, but I don't recommend doing this, I get respect now partially out of fear, and that is no way for a man to be liked.

How un-machiavellian of you......
