The difference being that I actually mean it (only not really). In other words, there's no real difference, but I can't think of anything to say so I decided to say there is for the sake of being contradictory.

Oh, and something about souls.

You must learn to embrace death. Death is your friend.

Well, not always. You usually have to beat him in a game of chess first, but after that, it's all good.

It is not death to know this, but to know
That pious thoughts, which visit at new graves
In tender pilgrimage, will cease to go
So duly and soft, and when grass waves
Over the past-away, there may be then
No resurrection in the minds of men.

Well, yeah. Of course.

I dated her in high school.

Okay, so it was an unconfirmed date that became a "rain check" (though I distinctly remember that it was quite sunny that day) that became a feigned amnesia of who I am that never really happened.

Now that it's not 4am, I've realized that that's dumb (and against the rules, I think; that would count as RP, right?), so I'm not going to do it.

Just thought you should all know. ... that your souls have been spared!
Honestly today it's not a big deal. Go ahead and be ridiculous.

Not here they're not, though.

Actually... Rick just told me for April Fool's Day the forum has a minimum rating of PG-13. You get in trouble for not being inappropriate.

Oh, I'm always ridiculous. :p But I've already broken character several times, so I think the opportunity has passed.

If I wanted to salvage it, I'd have to resort to that cheesy, overused schtick of thinking of my evil persona as a second personality that just as I think it's gone, suddenly comes back and ta-AKES - GAH - OOOOooovEEEERRRrrAAAAAAAAAAHH...!

...

... ... ...

...

Silence, mortal. You have no more place here.

(No, seriously. I'm not gonna go down that route. That was pretty bad. XD)

A deceased baby will be apnic and show asystole on the cardiac monitor. The classic signs of death also apply: rigor mortis, lividity, absence of an organ necessary for life (brain, heart, lungs, etc.). As children are typically robust and may have a positive outcome even after extended "down time," resuscitation should not generally be discontinued outside a hospital setting unless the patient presents with symptoms incompatible with life (as those listed above).
