Your notes can't be THAT bad. Can they?
My notes from history are just commentary on the teacher and the class in general when she tells me to stop SAYING the commentary out loud, and write my notes. And yet, I get 90s on tests, go figure :/.
I guess most people wouldn't find them too bad, but I feel like they're really sloppy and misshapen.

I have a 96 wpm apparently. Probably because I was a RPG gamer, due to frustrated teammates forcing me to type faster.

I believe I type fairly quickly. I usually end up having to look through what I typed to make sure things are spelled correctly and make sense grammatically.

I go grammar-nazi on myself.

Playing WoW definitely helped to improve my wpm more than the typing class I took in school. Though I'm not gonna knock the class any; if it weren't for that, I never would've started typing properly and I'd be stuck at my measly 25~ wpm typing face-down one key at a time. :p

But it was the amount of typing I had to do, and how quickly I had to do it, in WoW that really got me as fast as I am nowadays. I haven't really checked my exact wpm in quite a while, but I know that I'm at least 60-ish. Likely a bit higher.

Mandatory physical fitness class. From what I've heard it's not difficult at all.
Linear algebra. Hopefully I'm not making a mistake taking this in the summer.
I haven't signed up for my courses yet so I might add a computer class or something.

I don't think "a pig in tiger's clothing" would be a very good expression.

Nature works in mysterious ways, I don't find it silly at all. The tiger is probably trying to fill the void left by her lost cubs.

I want to know who first had the idea to use pigs
it seems like they'd be more likely to end up as lunch than anything else.

Yeah, there's really no need to "convince" the mother tiger of anything. Animal mothers taking in young not of their own kind is hardly a new thing; even predator to prey, it's not at all unheard of. No costumes required.

It's just a "mother's instinct" kind of thing. They're perfectly aware that they're raising young from an entirely separate species. They just don't particularly care.

I've always wanted to learn parkour and deal unflinching vigilante justice to unsavory characters, but apparently the legality of that is tenuous at best so that's on hold.

The only thing holding me back from getting into parkour is the area I live in, really. There's just no good places to do it. :/

Best I can hope to do around here is running through random people's backyards, hopping fences as I go. Which is pretty lame. Also, I'd be too scared that somebody would come out of their house and start yelling at me.

I think even if I wanted to seriously attempt to parkour I wouldn't be able to. There's nothing I can really parkour off of where I live.

That's pretty awesome man! Back in the summer I went to a local high school on the weekend when no one was there and did some jumps and stuff. The biggest one that I did was off this one wall that was probably around 8 or 9 feet high. I jumped out too instead of straight down, so it was a decent jump. I definately made sure to roll after I landed. :D You can ruin your knees and feet pretty easily if you don't roll after bigger jumps.
I haven't done any parkour in a long time, so I'm not in any shape to do it at the moment. I'll try to get back into it this summer on my days off. Hopefully I'll learn some new techniques too.

Rolling after falls is literally the most basic parkour you can do, but it's still so satisfying to land a jump from several feet up. :D On my old college campus, there was one area with about a 7, maybe 8, foot drop right in between my friends' dorm and the nearest bathroom (it was a girl's dorm, and guys weren't allowed to use the bathrooms). So whenever I had to go, I'd just run across the field, leap off the edge, roll, and keep right on going into the building. So much fun.

They taught us to roll in taekwondo, but I doubt it's as exhaustive as the rolling training people who learn parkour get.

I imagine it's also less damaging to your feet and knees if you don't execute a proper taekwondo roll at just the right moment.
