There are forums that require a payment to join, this isn't one though. Just to be clear, anyone can join and the most you have to do is choose a username and password. I realize most people knew we were just joking around about the forms and payment and stuff, but just to cover all our bases.

And they get paid in paper money except it's a different kind of paper than the kind you do paperwork on because otherwise paperwork would be really expensive

Well, you don't have least posts! If your activity picks up, you'll officially be one of the "Oooooold Legacy Members." You may recall the title was originally created by Buck and generally applies to people of my vintage.

I've been playing those my entire life and I'm not some trigger-happy psycho or anything. The ones like the early Call of Duty are fairly kid-friendly.

FPS went from rare to the most common type of game out there in a few years.

I wasted my childhood away with SimCity. Why wasted? I'm not a mayor, that's why.

I have grown to dislike a lot of FPSs, so I moved on to RPGs, really stoked for Dishonored. Also, stealth action has been in decline in the main stream, and that is disappointing.

Hey, what you mean? It might have helped you with understanding social study. We are Flight simulator and we don't call the FS a waste, even tough We are not a real pilot.
And by playing THE AoE I learned some historic facts.

I'm disappointed at new Splinter cell series, the real stealthness is gone. It's just an action-shooting game now.

I used to threaten my little brother by fake calling super nanny. Everytime he does something mean I walked toward to the phone. And he stopped being mean. I often wish this trick still works.

I'm not sure I've ever even truly played an FPS. Maybe for some ten minutes, probably not much more than that. Unless you want to say Portal is an FPS, since it is first person and you do have a sort of gun, but I wouldn't.

Have you heard about the fifth one?
It's looking good so far I think, and I'm willing to give Maxis back some of my faith (especially because they continue to exist, which alone I think is really cool), but I'm not putting down any money that it'll be as good as it looks just yet.

My sister and I had to beg to get our parents to let us play GoldenEye. We had to have paintball mode on at all times, though. Which is cool, because paintball mode is rad.

I was able to play Mortal Kombat 3 with the blood on when I was... 4 or 5, maybe? can't remember. I guess my parents knew what they were doing, because I turned out to be a total geek that would never even consider getting into a fight.

I thought I was already a legacy member...?

My first game was some playstation driving game that had a square car with a clown head on a stick on top. I don't really remember what I was supposed to do...
