i would think airway management would be the top priority as having blockage would prevent such rescue actions.

A heart that doesn't move can't bring what you breathe to the body. Breathing just "refills" the heart, if you will. You die without it but you die without heartbeats even faster.

I know it's pretty utopian, but sometimes I wish we had Picard-style plug-and-play heart-prostheses that are simple to implant if something fatal happens to the natural version.

Well, since it's not ponies, I'm going to say it here: I made an audition video for a Legend of Korra abridged series (Wish me luck!). It's just for several minor characters, but it'd be great practice, and it was super fun to do.

Just finished the video, so I'm just waiting for it to save, and then I'll upload it to my Youtube channel. I'll post a link when it's up!

I can hear your manly voice over woman's voice act and street kid voice act, but other than those two every voice act really fits well with chracters.

Yeah, I pretty well knew that I wasn't going to be able to pull off an actual feminine voice, so I just went for more wacky voices for the women. That's how abridged series' tend to do it anyway, 'cause they can't always get actual women to do the parts (or just don't want to). :p

I was referring more to such things as intubation, but Sleet's point is correct. It makes sense, given her career of choice. Even an obstructed airway does not prevent blood flow; the goal is to keep oxygen moving to the brain (and other organ systems) and interrupting chest compressions does not achieve this result.

Fine, I'll take this conversation from the MLP thread to the chat thread.

This is the reason I think Sleet is female. Why even put out the assumption that they used to go out if they never did? Why not just say they are close friends? A guy and a girl can be close friends without any dating involved. I would know, SilentPrincess is one of my closest friends and there are probably even some people who think we go out, even though we don't. (I don't even have a girlfriend)

If there was some kind of thing going on that SilentPrincess didn't want people to know her gender (and it wasn't totally obvious by her username), neither of us would do anything like "Well, we may have gone out for a period of time, but that's only if she really is a girl" unless we really did go out for a period of time. And it would just be kind of creepy anyway.

That's why I think Sleet is female. Or I'm just totally over analyzing this entire thing and putting way too much personal reasoning in it. I don't know.

In seriousness, I do in fact believe Sleet to be male, because I assume all online to be male until proven female. Nothing personal, but most people I have met on the internet have been male.

If you were to search the archive carefully, you could find Sleet's true gender without having to form a conjecture.
