:D :D :D convinced mum to let me have friday off of school So I get an extra day of summer holiday :D :D :D

Hmm regrets of possible consequences for past actions. What will come will come of course but I may need to lie. :| Still it was worth a few laughs for us all.

My hand is acting up again. Couldn't get it to move when I wanted it to and when it did it was really shaky. May have to give it some rest, I don't want to exert it too much seeing as it is damaged enough as it is.

Can't find my DVD player charger. It is somewhere in this house which means it is lost forever.

Why do you say that Sleet? Don't think that way!
Joy: My family is off to Maryland for a national softball thing, my sister is an amazing player.
Joy 2: My Dad has been cleared to go by his doctor, so that's a big Yay!
Joy 3: I don't have to go, so I can stay here and hang with people, oh wait, I don't have a social life. Anyone want to talk? I'm on Skype and Steam.

Because she told me that she thinks I missed some gene that makes you want to be kind to people. And I've run out of things to do to make her proud until I get into medical school or get married (to the kind of person she wants me marrying). She never says she's proud of me anymore.

Well, who ever said you need it? I'm not so sure my parents are proud of me either but you can't let it run your life. Just do your thing and hope for the best.

Sleet, you can't let other people define who you are. From what I've seen of you, you are a great guy/gal; and if your mom can't see that, she is missing out.
I totally understand the desire for parents to be proud of what you do, and love you, and support you. But some people have closed themselves off, and they will never show you that they care or even how proud they really are. They can't allow themselves to be so vulnerable.
She wants so much for you, but she lets her fears run how she acts toward you. Don't let her fears dictate your life. It's not your job to change your mom's heart. Be the man/woman that you are to be.
Know that I will be praying for you and your mom.

This.

There comes the time in one's life where you have to do what you think is best and not solely live for the purpose of living up to other people's expectations. We're not puppets.

Parents will always wish for you to be something you are not. Do not worry Sleet we are all proud of you because we think you are awesome. She will come to realise just how much she loves you eventually.

Joy: Me and my friend Dan were bored in a Maths lesson a few years ago so we decided for fun to formally adopt another friend as our son and name him mini Kieran. Since today is his 18th birthday we decided to tell him a few things about his birth. That our relationship was purely planktonic so we don't know how he even came about. He is biologically our son too yet me and Dan are both boys. But that we still love him no matter what. And then I posted it on his facebook wall for fun. Many people will be extremely confused and scared but the few that are in with the joke will laugh considerably. I was most pleased because it was less of a wall post and more of an essay. Ah today has started of fantasticly. I just hope no one gets the wrong idea and things Dan and I are actually in a relationship. Oh well I shall just have to explain that to the confused masses.

I daresay Sleet's mother knows how much she loves the foxy one. Sleet will be the first to say her mother cares, but is kind of clumsy in showing it.

Joy: I did something good today. I was taking a box of books to the book store to trade in for credit when I saw a pretty girl crying on a park bench. I wanted to help but had no idea what was upsetting her. But, I thought that I should try. I set my box of books down and pulled out a book of William Blake poems. I walked over to her, smiled and gave her the book and a friendly pat on the shoulder. She smiled and wiped her tears away. I know that it won't solve her problem, but maybe a meaningful gift from a stranger will show her that the world is not such a crappy place after all.

Good news everyone: Say Dark Knight Rises, it was good
Sorrow: So many nitpicks and just things that are, WRONG, so, many wrong things. And they aren't minor things either, some of my problems with the changes are, kind of important.
Sorrow 2: My ankle is killing me
Big problem with the day: Hit someone while driving, pulled out of an intersection, and my brother's Jeep has bad brakes, couldn't stop in time, and hit another car
Huge Joy: Everyone was okay

Sorrow: Have to go to sleep while on a last boss I could not save before, so need to go through quite a lot to get back to where I was. Also been trying that same boss for the past hour or so, but keep failing due to lame attacks that hit everyone for over the maximum hp in the game. Really destroys the immersion of the game.

Pretty much... School traded my Grade for a Half of Credit.

I think they counted volunteer credit as a elective course credit.

Sorrow: This kid I am tutoring is unbearably difficult to deal with. He literally took 30 minutes to solve 3 questions. 3 questions! He can barely speak or understand English too, so it's like I am teaching him English and math at the same time. I literally have to translate every word. It took him an hour to understand what solving for a single variable meant. Solving for a single variable! He is supposed to be in Geometry next year and he hasn't learned a thing from Algebra 1! It took about 15 minutes for me to explain to him why 8+2√2 did not equal 10√2. This is so stressful.

Sorry to hear that, Wanderer. :( At least he doesn't seem to be the kind of kid who acts up and won't settle down.

Please try to have patience. You'd want it if the roles were reversed, wouldn't you?

I'm really trying to be patient but it's very difficult for me. I generally have problem managing my anger, which means I occasionally burst and scream at people. I don't want to do that though... I don't want to scare him.
I'm getting a mix of anger and depression again. Why is nothing changing?
