Not sure if Rick actually forgot he hadn't ended this story or if he just decided to wait until now to finish it.
either way, I like it.

Spot is back! and lost his memories? wow, this gonna be interesting! And just when I was wondering what had happened with the cyborg
By the way, I like how Grape looks in this comic (specially in the first panel). Something change?

I feel like every self-respecting comic series should have an Issue Uh-Oh.

Looks like Rick forgot the strip of purple outlining the outside of her right ear, and her arm doesn't seem to have the usual thickness (compared to her forearm in panel 2 for example). Other than that I don't see anything different.Gren wrote:Spot is back! and lost his memories? wow, this gonna be interesting! And just when I was wondering what had happened with the cyborg

Glad I just finished watching Memento. I smell some references afoot.

Man that was a good movie. If this arc were Memento-themed that would be awesome.

Memory relapse episodes involving photos usually make me take three guesses: either the Cyborg is Spot's brother, mentor or boss

Re: Arc # 62: The Retroactively Continuous Adventures of Spo
because it was fixed.
I don't know if it was Rick or if you have the power to tag strips and you're just messing with us.

Re: Arc # 62: The Retroactively Continuous Adventures of Spo
Maybe it's just me but when I read the title for everyone's, but Sleet's, posts it looks like
Arc # 62: The Retroactively Continuous Adventures of Spo.
Which makes me think about an arc focused strictly on Spo being like Batman or Spiderman.
Also, I love how Peanut has all his comics in that box.

Re: Arc # 62: The Retroactively Continuous Adventures of Spo
it's because the post title has a character limit, and the "Re:" pushes the t beyond that limit.
ooh, I like the way Peanut thinks.

Re: Arc # 62: The Retroactively Continuous Adventures of Spo
I actually sense a recursion coming on. This is the fake world, Spot actually did get caught by the Cyborg, but it was in the current time and is tricking Spot into thinking that he's in the past.

So this is the Spot version of PsyCon?RandomGeekNamedBrent wrote:Spot actually did get caught by the Cyborg, but it was in the current time and is tricking Spot into thinking that he's in the past.
Yes. They are great faces. I see two new avatasr in somebody's future.Sleet wrote:I love the last panel. The faces say so very much.
It turns out Spot (Superdog) has actually trapped The Cyborg in a false reality.

Re: Arc # 62: The Retroactively Continuous Adventures of Spo
Not so much as tricking Spot into thinking that he's in the past, he's got Spot dreaming or forced into thinking that The Cyborg will always lose. Probably forever.RandomGeekNamedBrent wrote:I actually sense a recursion coming on. Meanwhile, the Cyborg does all his evil deeds while he's asleep oh noooooes!

Re: Arc # 62: The Retroactively Continuous Adventures of Spo
no I mean that spot's in a virtual reality helmet now that's making him think he's in a virtual reality helmet back when he first encountered the cyborg. everything since then actually happened but the Cyborg wants to mess with him and make him think it didn't.

Oh yeah I know that. You just happen to explain things in a complicated and confusing way, especially when it involves time apparently.

I got it now. X3
What's cool about that analogy though? Stripe is also hooked up to that machine. Hmmm!

Which is probably part of the reason Grape's upset...the one time that Stripe (not a Cat) fights for herself turns out to be an illusion.
I like the little posing the characters do when they are embarassed or nervious by holding two fingers together the way Peanuts doing here and has often been done in the past. Is this a traditional anime shortcut or an original Rick trademark?

Yup. Naruto comes to mind. Although I doubt that nervous tic is followed by a toothy smile.

I may have actually seen a pony do the closest thing it can without fingers.

Whenever I imagine a pony putting its hooves together, I think it's upset about not having fingers.

From my days of writing Sonic the Hedgehog fanfiction as a foolish 12-year-old, I can attest to the fact that pulling random, convoluted garbage out of no where makes you feel oh so intelligent and unpredictable.
