I hate the cartoons nick has now. they're so stupid now.
You talking about the ones NOT featuring super heroes or martial artists? Or penguins?

I think that was finished rather than cancelled, but I'm not really sure (and yes, there is a difference).

Yes it finished in fact it went longer then it was supposed to be. Originally like every other Disney show it was supposed to have just 65 episodes but ended up having 100 episodes and a movie.

Edit: fixed misspelling

This may be a British thing But there are a lot of good shows which make less than 20 episodes in the entire run of the show and end before it gets old as opposed to being canceled, Which is good for some but is annoying when you love the show; especially as there are plenty of bad shows which have huge lifespans. I could elaborate but besides making no sense to anyone except Brits I would doubtless end up on a massive rant on why I don't watch TV anymore and no-one needs that off of me.

Also, as much as I hate to bring out the ubiquitous example, I just cleared the Firefly box set in three nights, so much potential!
May you lead an interesting life.

Beavis and Butt-head (which is returning to MTV, just so you guys are aware).

One thing you should know about the guy, that was the creator for "Invader Zim" was that he made a dark, graphic, gory, cartoon comic books and I love them, but it is intence. Check it out!!!

What a bump!
Anyway, I think Monk was cancelled a bit too early, but it went out with a *ahem* bang *ahem*.
And let's not forget Invader Zim.
And for some reason, Kirby: Right Back Atcha' comes to mind, as well.

Huh? Unclear antecedent.

Anyways, Pushing Daisies was fantastic, even if for the visuals (which got it cancelled) alone.

I would say the English dub of Detective Conan it only got 135 somehting eps
the Japanese version has over 500 it will take forever for funimation to catch up
And its also adult swims fault for thinking they can keep an anime running at 1AM

On another note I really think its stupid for adults and teens to complain about cartoons made specifically for children or Teenage girls
I don't like some of the new stuff either but i understand that it was made for people much younger than I. I'm not supposed to enjoy it.
So check out my Deviant art http://exranion.deviantart.com/ It has ponies, furries, and the link to my tumblr!

Invader Zim, Pushing Daisies, Monk, Dead Like Me, and Futurama. Since they have already been mentioned, I will not elaborate.

I haven't actually watched Firefly yet. Is it really that good?

There was a show called John Doe that I liked at first, But it went all paranormal before being cancelled.
The Chapelle Show was good, but it wasn't cancelled so much as its star leaving the country in the middle of a season.
As for classics? Gilligan's Island and the Beverly Hillbillies were cancelled too early.

Oh yeah, and that X-men cartoon about them in High school was okay.

On the other hand, some shows really ought to have been cancelled earlier to avoid a total loss of quality.
