Kitsune are naturally tricksters. That just makes the whole thing more fun.

The only reward I can see that they would know about (Sabrina and Tarot might know more) is "being left alone to be happy for once". Which isn't really a reward so much as escaping torment. Bailey thought she would be keeping King canine by signing up with Pete but he immediately turned King back into a human (I don't buy that the "spell wore off", he did it to be a jerk).

This would've been exponentially more awesome if Kitsune were emulating "Problem" instead of "Awesome".

Oh god, Kitsune's face is pure awesomesauce!
This was pretty much how I'd imagine Pete would try and win them back, with a shouting match. Go Bailey and King for fighting back with the power of defiance and love!

I actually joined the forums to ask this question.
Does anyone here know the significance of pickles and ice cream???
Or is this the 1000lb elephant in the room that everyone is desperately trying to avoid talking about?

What made me laugh wasn't the "Pot calling the kettle black" joke. It was Kitsune's face in the last panel.

The first time it was mentioned, King panicked as he thought it was Bailey saying little Princes and Princesses were on the way. It's just something Bailey used to make with her mother.IonOtter wrote:I actually joined the forums to ask this question.

Pete doesn't know the meaning of making up for past mistakes =P
Seecond Panel: Lookout! Dangerous Pickle! (Also fun to watch Bailey splash Pete)
... and that phone has no line.
Overcoming hardships is second on my list of things I love about romance and it's great to watch Bailey stand up to Pete's constantly pushing her to fight for him. My only gripe though is the idea of the moral being that Heaven's not enough would've been better if Pete was a benevolent god, not the jerk that he was. Otherwise, I'm sure King and Bailey's moral would have a much more impacting idea. Pete had this coming and Heaven certainly isn't enough to sway King and Bailey at this point.

oh yeah Kitsune's face alone made today's comic perfect, the new trollface XD
I really like the "don't let yourself push around." message here, it really fits.
Also hands up, who wants to see who could win a milkshake drinking contest, Cerb or the other darrin?
No really I think the chubby wolf could win

For some reason, I thought that Pete would have used threats in order to get King and Bailey to comply. Maybe he isn't as much of a jerk as I though.

Re: 2014/09/01 - Shake It Baby
Ahahah! Awesome, amazing, genial Great Kitsune (he's not only great)! Certainly he's not at your side, Pete: perfect reply to an hypocrite of a jerk. Another reply to Pete would be, how do you dare to tell King what you've always been? Remember, it's you who put him in all this... Applauses to Bailey's reaction, it's not like a punch in the face, but it's better than nothing (poor the other Daryl who has seen that scene, he can't lick it ). It's a satisfaction! Now please, someone give her some scissors... Beautiful words, King! Nothing can give value to your and Bailey's lives than your own love if you have to bend to the will of others! Another satisfaction! The cameraman is filming everything, so all this could go on TV in future... Yet another satisfaction!
Would be worth see the little scene with Cerberus, she's indeed not having three heads now, but her four milkshakes order seems to be for the other Daryl...

Now I just noticed that if it weren't for the ring I would say Bailey holds hands with Marshmallow man.
Really? Never heard of that one.Silly Zealot wrote: We use "El burro dijo que orejas largas." where I come from.
Not in my country at least. I do have heard of a similar phrase but not related to this joke.Frank wrote:And just because when I woke back up I felt like it:...what?
- Translation for Mexico: El burro hablando de orejas (the donkey talking about [long] ears)
- Translation for Central America: El tigre hablando de rayas (the tiger talking about stripes)
- Translation for South America: El tigre hablando de manchas (the jaguar talking about spots)
The phrase says: "ponerle una raya más al tigre" (put one more strip on the tiger) which means it doesn't matter what you do it won't change nothing.
I also heard of another phrase but I'm not sure if it's like this joke: "El mudo le dijo al sordo que el ciego lo está mirando" (The dumb one told to the deaf one that the blind one was looking at him.)
And by the way:
Tiger is Tigre.
Jaguar is Jaguar/Yaguareté.
