Hiding about,
rooting through the trash;
I'd better not eat that,
it might give me a rash.
Eating cheap food
what the others throw away;
staying fed
is the best game to play!
Such jewels here
down amongst the bins;
such fine fare
lets me forgive Human sins.
Burgers, tacos and dogs,
quality defining,
are better off, now,
in my stomach lining!
The Opener's right,
better to steal than beg;
now a question -
what to do with the egg?
They make a great team.

Falstaff does seem to be rather intelligent, he just applies the wrong knowledge to situations.Xane wrote:I don't think any amount of effort could raise Falstaff's standard of intelligence.
I don't think he could go any lower either, no matter how hard he tries. :D
Where did Jessica get her education from? She seems a lot brighter than most of the ferals. Does she have a stash of books like Miles?
Congratulations on those who guessed they would find the golden egg.

So much for my guess that he was going to use egg puns on the titles this arc.

It's like the equivalent of being wrong genre savy only applied to everything rather than to just how the world he's in works...Number9Dysonsphere wrote:Falstaff does seem to be rather intelligent, he just applies the wrong knowledge to situations.Xane wrote:I don't think any amount of effort could raise Falstaff's standard of intelligence.

Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Well, Amazee Dayzee called it, it was somewhere unexpected. Good for the Raccoons, they deserve this... And maybe the will finally impress the Opener of Ways.
Currently traveling across the United States. Still up for any conversations though.

Love the irony in hiding the egg so the can find it after already finding it.
My tree now has a café in it. Yay?

I love how the collars are degrading with use.

I'm sure they're under the impression that The Opener of Ways will shower them with blessings if they turn in the holy relic to him.

I've seen raccoons open cage doors with their hands and Falstaff and Truck broken ones, right?

I don't think any of them are particular smart to tell you the truth.
Re: 2015/04/10 - Trash Talk
I would see how much you lowered your "staendard", which was already low, the normality for a feral raccoon which rummages in the garbage. And be careful, you may make it dirty by keeping it close to the ground. Keep lowering it, however, probably it works the contrary with ferals. Be sneaky is in your nature. But, you could do what Zach the Opener said, having the behaviour of real pets, and your fake collars idea wasn't neither bad... What a lost chance. The gold egg was there? What will these silly rascals do with it?
Did he ever showed to be smart? Falstaff should be so, instead, he has a more elaborate speaking.gamepopper wrote:How come Truck isn't the smart one?

I can't really throw shade on them since a long time ago I didn't think that Zach was that smart for giving his collar to a hustler.

Did Truck's and Falstaff's tail tips change color since the last arc we saw them in? o.0

Though changing art styles and changing the color of a characters fur are completely different things.

It does make more sense this way, though, since raccoons generally do have dark tail tips.
