I dunno, I still think Krillin is Goku's best friend, and no one could ever replace him. It's the only thing Krillin has left to his name, let him keep it.

I tend to be an annoying combination of both of these:
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

Re: Memes!
Canon Vegeta maybe, but abridged Vegeta is going to keep being a glory hog solo act and wanting Kakarot dead till the end of time.
Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

I'm also wondering why so many people vilify Yamcha just because Vegulma is canon. They broke up because he became a playboy according to Future!Trunks dialogue. I wouldn't have minded seeing him have a girlfriend.

That actually reminds me of me when I was younger and I would climb into bed with my grandparents when I had a nightmare.

I didn't get it at first until I put the letters together like it said. I don't watch wrestling so I guess he might be OK.

Re: Memes!
the joke is just that there's a meme where you're led to expect someone else's name or some other phrase and then instead voice announces John Cena really loudly and his theme music plays. for example
the description of the guy has nothing to do with the joke other than leading you to not expect John Cena

I concur. That probably would have made a lot more sense.
Re: Memes!
Well, already did a Mario Party one, you know, the one with Xbox controls? Also, I wanted a segue into the Yu-Gi-Oh one.
Anyway, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wifPfxVE7tM

MLP Season 4 finale
Also, Dayzee, I don't get that meme. What is it from?

Re: Memes!
upon further review, video memes are fine. as long as the general point of the meme can be understood within a few seconds of the video. so Guile's theme and Space Jam remixes and quick John Cena videos are fine.D-Rock wrote:Aww, so no more Guile's Theme?
but people shouldn't need to watch over a minute of the video to understand the meme.

I think it was from the Australian version of "The Bachelor" according to what the text said where I got it from.

That's it D-Rock, you have forced my hand, that looks way too amazing, I must immediately check out this show!

Re: Memes!
Curator, I must go ahead and admit, this is not a screen shot. It is what everyone likened that particular episode to, though.

Re: Memes!
D-Rock you broke my heart and shattered my trust.
I must admit it did seem too much like an anime, nonetheless I will procede in my scheduled viewing of the first series.
Oh and here is a meme. And another one because you lot like memes. And one last one for Hlaoroo.

That last one is one of the numerous reasons I ain't ever stepping foot in Australia.

I worked the dish pit where I work for a while. That middle poster was the only truth there was.
I'm going to be honest, I didn't mind Mokap. I found him a silly addition. I liked him better than Meat, anyway, despite Meat having some semblance of believable back-story.

Re: Memes!
that's not a girl, it's Liu Kang.
also, wasn't Mokap's backstory that he did motion capture for Johnny Cage's movies? how is his backstory less believable than Cage's then? I'd say it's more of a silly backstory than an unbelievable one. which is great for a joke character.

Re: Memes!
I didn't care about the accuracy of the first one, I just always get a laugh when I see those lyrics in that context. But it doesn't help that the fatality was performed on Shang Tsung.
As for Mokap, he had no explanation for how he suddenly got telekinetic powers in Armageddon, but it was a nice change from his Deadly Alliance specials. He still seemed like your everyday person in comparison to everyone else, but not to say I didn't like him. I found it funny how it seemed like Carlos Pesina himself was fighting alongside the Kombatants for the fate of Earthrealm.
I can easily believe Meat being an incomplete flesh pit creation within the mythos of MK, but he wasn't as memorable as Mokap for me. Though you have to give Midway credit for making a base model and special alternate costume his own character.
Comparison of human and MK skeletons. View any video of MK3 and you'll understand.
