You know how obsessed I was with this song sometime back then? I always love songs in a different language, and I also love the idea that this song is basically a hymn in Swahili, and also a video game music. I still prefer the Suweto Choir version though. This one is an 8/10 for me.

Hmmm. I'm a bit mixed on this one. It's a great shanty of shipbuilders but...

It's been put on the disc based on the series 'The Lost Ship' and it doesn't really have anything to do with it. Sometimes I can hold that against a song but this one's worthwhile and tells a strong tale. 9.5/10

The juxtaposition between the sugary sweet voice and the rather depressing lyrics is intriguing, and emphasizes the latter I feel. Add in the music box effect, and it's really... powerful? That might not be the right word, but it's the first that comes to mind. Sad, but quality. 10/10

Paperblossom (cover) - Blumenkranz

Another fan cover. For this one, it has more proper German pronunciation instead of... Gerpanese (or whatever you'd call Japanese attempts at German)? It may seem a little bit off for those who know the original, but if you're familiar with the language, I think it sounds better, imho.
