First I thought the voice in the dark may be Sammy, but they would have recognised each other. So, a new person... I'm curious who it'll be.

Another thought, it turned winter pretty soon after Sheldon and Sammy came back, I hope they had enough time to gather food for the cold season. Well... They could always raid Freddy's house. xD
