How come both Fox and Mungo aren't looking deeper into the obedience training? Because that's probably why Sasha is acting like this?

Would it be crazy to suggested that Sasha might be possessed by ghost of Karl-Lenin Faust?

Leashed and soon, possibly, to be branded;
fabulous Fox’s career may soon be stranded.
Mungo acted as an impromptu party crasher
and cooled passions to bring in strange Sasha.
She’s not acting her usual, flip-lidded, self.
Death threats are new, fresh off the high shelf.
Pulled from the fluff that makes up her brain
as she makes poor Mungo take up the strain.
Bringing her in, a new section of story starts,
the final quarter in a plot of four parts.
Heaven, the base, the chase now the capture.
Months of Fox and crew. Oh, rapture!

Welp something is seriously wrong when Sasha can free herself from handcuffs WITHOUT a key.

Re: 2016/11/07 - Long Leash Of The Law
Hm... Ricky STILL hasn't shown Sasha's right hip all throughout. It's strange... Almost like he's avoiding the reveal. The only time we've seen "Sasha's" right hip was when she was waltzing into the clearing, and her flank was blank, since the mark on the camera was big enough to be noticeable from the scene, whereas in the character sheet, Sasha's mark was rather tiny, but that was because it was prior to the recent Artshift we're at right now. I suspect Rick made it bigger intentionally, so as to tip us off.
Also, "Sasha" Seems to follow the logic of Cartoons, as in the words of Roger Rabbit: "Only When it's Funny." However, I feel it's on poor taste to say "Funny" right about now. We're not certain if this is Sasha or a clone/evil-twin/Doppelganger/ Imposter taking her place and smearing her name so as to have her be the falldog. As for the reason I didn't put down the other suspected ideas of her being Possessed, high or brainwashed, is because that would fall into the first category, with the person being Sasha herself, just Possessed, High or Brainwashed/Mind Controlled.
Still, if this is supposed to be funny, I'm not laughing, and I laugh at quite a lot of things similar. I guess it's mostly because if Sasha is found guilty, she'd likely be executed without question. It's also because if she IS found Guilty, it would have made all of Keene Milton's hard work been for nothing, since The Public would panic, believing their own pets would be secretly assassins waiting to kill them the moment they let their guard down. Now, I may not like Keene Milton for what he's done, but I DO feel pain when I have to watch other people's hard work be for nothing.

I think I has the solution!
The Yello-Dello!
I mean...
Pita! (Mmm... gyros... )
I mean...
PETA!
Why not? They've been against the rights and freedoms-- i.e. the right to live at home with a family and amenities-- since Fox first encountered them back when we first met Joel Robinson!
Keene would be a PERFECT target for Housepets!PETA!
The obedience training with Sasha is just something Housepets!PETA devised to "prove" their point!

Plot Twist: What if the bubbly Sasha we've known has been the imposter, and this is the real one!
No, but in all seriousness, I believe Sasha's boyfriend will notice right away that she isn't the real Sasha.

Re: 2016/11/07 - Long Leash Of The Law
Great, first day on the job and already he's getting arrested himself. Well at least Fox's first day isn't nearly as bad as Leon S. Kennedy's. Well at least not so far, if celestials are involved that could change.
So........... predictions:
1. Fox will be found innocent but because he has an obvious conflict of interest will be ordered off the case and to not contact anyone involved which of course we know ain't gonna happen.
2. Sasha or NotSasha (whichever you all prefer) after being brought in will quickly disappear from police custody prompting a big man... er dog hunt and Fox is of course going to be the one to find her.
3. This one assumes that Fox and Mungo are bringing in a fake Sasha. Real Sasha turns up back home after spending time out in the woods to destress and work up the nerve to go back. Her owner promptly calls the police to turn her in causing massive confusion back at the station. Real Sasha runs away again before police show up. Combine that with #2 and things could really get interesting/complex.
4. While "Sasha" is in custody another attempt is made on either Keene or one of the Milton's lives. This prompts another round of questioning of her to see who else could be involved but Sasha being, well Sasha, this only produces more questions/frustrations.

Re: 2016/11/07 - Long Leash Of The Law
Huh. She's back to normal again. I was expecting a climatic battle between Mungo and her x3
At this point it's feels like a status quo for Fox - Sasha had to get Fox into trouble for not doing the right thing, but Sasha is really difficult to follow since she keeps on changing her attitude on the fly. Probably because she's trying to meet everyone's expectations?

That maybe true, but she is still his girlfriend and we saw, how often they hang out together. Actually Kevin is Fox's best bet to proof how strange Sasha is acting, except...if Kevin acts professional and acts like a cop SHOULD act.
Mungo is right, Fox need some proof. So he really could need the help of Kevin. If Fox comes up with the idea of a possessed Sasha, he should talk to Fido, since Fido is Sabrina's boyfriend. If someone would find a proof of Sasha being possessed it would be Sabrina and Taro.

Re: 2016/11/07 - Long Leash Of The Law
Why leashes for both? Does it mean that Fox is blocked because of what Mungo says? Yeah, Fox, tell him that you don't want to steal anything and that there's something very wrong with Sasha, also if it sounds ironic for him. Looks like Mungo knows Sasha's usual behaviour, too. But yeah, Fox sees differences in her because he knows her better (and her so called sweet talk ): she's not being in her mind, and maybe she's neither even the real Sasha... How's going to end? Death to capitalism, you say? Keene represents it, actually... Karl-Lenin Faust would be proud of you, Sasha, only if he was still alive...

And how come Sasha act like a Communist? No offense, Sasha, but if You want something on that front, Socialism may be more suitable for You. Socialism is closely tied to Communism, but at least it's tame.

I'm with some of the others. This behavior obviously has something to do with the obedience training, if that is Sasha, anyway. I'm still pretty sure that she isn't the real Sasha, and it's just some imposter, given her lack of piercings and her missing 'Not a cutie mark.'

*sigh*
As much as i hate to admit it, Rick has dragged this one out too long. You can only build suspense on a single issue so long before you start to loose interest... I've gotten board... Your all free to disagree its just my own opinion.
As far as the right hip thing? there are 2 real possibility. The first is the one we all keep saying, something is wrong and the mark is missing. The second is something that i am pretty convened of at this point. He knows theirs controversy surrounding that single point so he is hiding it in order to maintain interest for the big reveal. Once that reveal comes everyone will say "Oh wow i am so surprised that its really Sasha". At the moment either option is equally possible and ricks hiding it amounts to keeping his options open so that he can make a big reveal no matter what people think.
Personally, though... and like i said just my opinion... He stretched this out a bit long, and i just would rather it be revealed so we can move on. I am just itching for a one off on something....
Please?

Re: 2016/11/07 - Long Leash Of The Law
I think that either this Sasha is a fake, or being controlled. I feel as though that pink winged dog Fox met while in heaven with King has something to do with this. She and the green dog really had a thing for him, and perhaps still do. Perhaps the pink one is doing this to have a chance to interact with Fox and/or is getting revenge for all the times Fox didn't answer their calls.
The pink and green dog were always seen together, but only the green one was present when Keene was is heaven prior to this. So where was the pink one? And what did she write in that letter...?

I actually just remembered her right hip /has/ been shown up close since this begin.
https://www.housepetscomic.com/comic/20 ... and-egypt/
No mark.
I am curious why fox is on a leash though. He didn't technically stop Mungo from taking her in (as far as we know) but just wanted to make sure it was her. My best guess is that Mungo feels that he cant handle the situation and has just lost it, or perhaps, he thinks something was going on with all the smooches involved.

Again, the mark was added in as of the 3.0 style change, after that strip, so from what I could dig up, it's been there since April of 2013 (oh, wow, has it really been that long? )Tales wrote: What mark are you talking about?

It's never been explicitly stated whether or not we should treat the mark as always existing, thereby retconning its existence into canon, or if it was artificially added in by the character herself. For example, if a flashback to their childhood is shown in the current style, we could make the conclusion then, if a younger Sasha is shown with the mark or not.

Just as a bit of speculation, could the mark have been artificial, and placed on her by her owner?

Possibly?
I have heard of tattoos being applied to pets for identification, but it's usually a number that I hear about.
I think one reason why some of us are considering it natural is that it perfectly matches the fur color of her limbs, snout, and ears. Granted, I don't doubt that a color was selected that matched. Just remember that animals with unique fur patterns that form specific shapes do exist.
