I thought someone might bring this up (since I, too, would have probably pointed this out) . I did say it was inspired by, rather than what the caricature should have looked like.

I decided to give poor Joey the caricature that he deserves. This one sorta go away from me lol and I went a bit overboard on it. It's Joey role-playing D&D, I dunno if it ever mentioned what sort of class his character might be so I just picked a wizard lol. I really like how this turned out, I'm not very good with backgrounds (or art in general for that matter!) but I like it.

aw crap! You know what I did? lol I took the current strip and flipped it horizontially so that I can use it for a reference to see how he would look like facing the right..and I forgot that it was flipped wrong and that's why I put it on the wrong side..

After 4 hours of working on just their mouths, I still don't like their mouths.

EDIT: and for some reason, when I save the images, the Watermark gets darker than what I set it to be.

Grape's muzzle is much shorter, as with most cats are. Otherwise you pull this thing off pretty nicely. Just look at Grape's face for reference.

This one's for Dean for his super awesome new story "Seattle Runaways (Grapenut)" which you should totally go read right now.

It's been far too long since the last time I posted a picture so this time I'll show you the malicious drawing process that takes place between myself and the paper.

First it starts out like this giant block of blue. It is very ornery and must be disciplined: You see it is very blue

After I envision the image within, I chisel away at it for hours until it is has learned its place: Take that blue block

Once I've washed the tears off my hands I simply outline it...: You see it is not blue anymore

Color...: More than two colors now!

And after having been taught by the flying monks of Asucar in the ancient art of photoshoppery, I use my dark and terrible powers to produce the finished produce: Shazam!

It's brutal, but my passion, and very rewarding. There's more of the picture that you can see at Dean's fic, which you should already be reading. Why aren't you reading it yet >:I
