Decided I needed a character to represent myself other than Macabre, as he had his own personality. Meet Rocky!
tutorial I found on Rick's DeviantArt page.
He was initially going to be a smaller version of Macabre, but I made changes as I went. Changed out the skull helmet in favor of glasses, removed the external ribs, added a chest jewel (no real reason, I just wanted to) and after learning how Mexican wolves looked, gave him that color pattern. Think I'm happy with this. Didn't have the drive to make a back view.

No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

I started the major Power Rangers stuff after you and Dayzee called me "Rocky."
...Though I did make a morpher-inspired weapon for Max, but I don't remember if that was before or after.
I briefly considered making the gem in different styles and colors, but decided to keep it simple.

Horse-shape fox!
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

Just being creative or got a story in mind for him?
Re: Art Thread
Bit of both. He is related to two of my other OCs. Well, if you really want to know specifically, he's the son of two of my OCs, Mirage and Macabre. This is LONG after the events where we introduce those two, though.
Re: Art Thread
Wow....too specific, eh?
Re: Art Thread
Sort of an emerald or amethyst...handsome.

Was going for jade, really. Super cloudy emerald if I was going for that.

West, As a general rule, ignoring inclusions precious stones are transparent, semiprecious are opaque, and if its made artificially it doesn't count as either. The only exceptions I know of are quartz and amethyst being transparent.
In drawings the easiest way I find to make something look transparent is either have something behind it mostly visible or, the shine and shadow on the back surface of a transparent object being just as visible as those on the front.

I experimented with the coloring on this guy.
His name is Arezzo: an elusive mysterious beast of the forest. His species and origin are both unknown even to him. He possesses great strength, but is far too peace-loving to ever use it. He contentedly feeds at night on vegetables and fruit.

Thanks. Not sure what to do with him. I thought about putting him in The Not-So Dynamic Duo, but I'm considering ending the series after the one current arc finally closes... I suppose on that note, I can spill one (bad) idea I had regarding his origins (he's the son of Homer the chimera. Hence his name Arezzo... and why he's yellow).
