Re: The Welcome Thread!
Wow, the first forum I've been on since 2016, woops how time flies-
Hello everyone! The name is Kai, and I have been an on-again off-again reader for several years now. I decided to finally take the leap and check out the community after an unceremonious binge from beginning to current. As an ongoing fan of Rick's art, I look forward to being a more avid follower of the series! (It's also a great way to pass the time~)
About myself, I'm a twenty-four year old professional driver (fancy speak for a semi truck driver) and long time fan of anthropomorphics. I'm a writer, storyteller, and tabletop enthusiast by hobby, and a big Stellaris player in my free time. I also do a lot of creative storytelling and roleplaying, which is one of the reasons I was interested in joining the forum. With such an interesting career, I actually have moments of absolute boredom. I hope to experience what this community has to offer!
Plus, erm, you see... I also really love that you all still have a forum. It hits me right in the nostalgia, in a decade of instant messaging o'plenty and online dice groups. I look forward to meeting you all!

Welcome, StarlightPath! I think you'll like it here, I've been on a few forums over the years and this is my favorite by far. There's lots of thoughtful and creative people here.
Also props for a fellow Stellaris player

Hello and welcome, StarlightPath.
Re: The Welcome Thread!
So, I never really introduced myself, despite coming here on and off for a while now. Hi, I’m Pumkin, I found Housepets through TvTropes about four years ago, and I’m not a furry. Yes, Housepets is my favorite webcomic, and one of my favorite characters is King, and I considered writing fanfic about the series, and i came up with multiple original characters for that fanfic, and one of those characters was a human turned into an animal and he was kind of a self insert, and I know the first stage of becoming a furry is denial. But I’m still definitely not a furry. I think.
