Ok I'm guessing this is totally another Imaginate! Arc. It makes the most sense right now
Re: 2020/04/27 - Buried Treasure
Looks like the arc is coming together nicely...

Re: 2020/04/27 - Buried Treasure
OMG Pete is such a little brat! I see a few years as a mortal has done him a world of good.
Let's Imaginate the Goonies?
I have a strong hunch that Kitsune pulled some strings to get them there. A, I doubt Kix is all that busy. B. there is like 20 other animals living in that treehouse and none of them could watch the kits. Or did all suddenly have "appointments"
Okay, someone is going to realize that Draig was Dragon by the end of this. I would love if she said something to Peanut or flirted with him like little kids do when they develop little crushes on their babysitters.

Oh my, this is like HP Babies meet Imagine, and it sound pretty good
Re: 2020/04/27 - Buried Treasure
I'm guessing either Dungeons and Dragons or a videogame, but that list is big when it comes to videogames. Probably Animal Crossing? =P

And now two more join the Grapest young crew
seen in the long history of the strip.
She’s been letting the wild ones in the house
and now, I think, they’re in for quite the trip.
Craig doesn’t know how to play with others
but I think that Olive’s gonna teach him.
The battle’s will be getting through his shell;
but I reckon King’s girl can just reach him.
She’s got her father’s ears, has young Olive,
but I doubt she’ll ever know his true fears.
The fact that his nightmare may be her friend
in a communion that could last for years...

Re: 2020/04/27 - Buried Treasure
So we are getting more Olive/Craig interactions. Wouldn't be surprised if this turns into another Imaginate arc featuring those two.
Re: 2020/04/27 - Buried Treasure
They’re acquainted already,
Olive and Craig would be precious together if Craig weren’t such a jerk.

Alright, a real "kids" ( "kits"?) story. And funny hats, too. Lots of "shock of recognition" opportunities as well.

She's not as bad as Craig, but Draig is no Dylan either.fenrirblack wrote:OMG Pete is such a little brat! I see a few years as a mortal has done him a world of good.

Agreed. Maybe this arc is going to be a Beauty And The Beast-type story,w here Olive teaches Craig how to be nice?Macsen wrote:They’re acquainted already,

I wonder if Olive inherited Bailey’s attitude towards jerks. I’m really intrigued by this arc.

Same here. I bet they're gonna have an interesting dynamic.

Ah, nice, there are also Craig and Draig, Kix's kids. You're two little pests, you know? Especially the ex Pete, and I'm not surprised of that... Yeah, it's the box of the paper hats that Peanut and Grape use for the imaginate games. Play with them is much better than watch TV. Ah, nasty Craig, or ex Pete: you don't demand anything and you aren't anymore superior, because Olive though it before you... Cool arc story, it's great if all the pups are going to play!

Judging by what we've seen of Olive's behavior so far, I'd say no.

For some reason I don't think there are paper hats in the box.
I have ideas and I occasionally put them down.

Nice to see that even as a small kit that Craig is still as big of a brat and annoyance as he was as a Celestial gryphon. Someone needs a months long time out. You are only making this mortal punishment infinitely more harder on yourself by behavior like someone who needs a good spanking. I just have to ponder how Kix puts up with him. If I was her I probably would have hauled off and smacked him.

Maybe it is...or maybe it's Peanut's secret stash of surgery treats (A hyperactive Olive...now I want to see that).Zesortinge wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2020 3:06 pm For some reason I don't think there are paper hats in the box.

Oh I haven't even thought of that at all. I need to see that at some point. The premise sounds really hilarious. Lets see how Peanut and Grape can deal with a house of hyperactive youngsters. xD
Re: 2020/04/27 - Buried Treasure
Did... Any of the hats include Pete's feather? Just thinking of the possible mana...

I think Grape kept the feather, somewhere, because when she’s consoling Max at the end of The Gallifrax Protocol arc, she asks if he wants to see her gryphon feather, of course it could still be around somewhere.

I shudder to think what will end up happening and how everything will go pear-shaped if Craig gets a hold of the feather that was his in a former life.

I think that, if there's any part of their memories blocked off, it's the pawns in their game. No remembering how they used King, Bailey, Tarot, Sabrina, Grape, Peanut...CunningFox wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 11:01 amI'm surprised Craig didn't react to that.Grape wrote:Meet King's pups

Honestly I would think that they would remember who King and Bailey are. Some of their memories involving them weren't Celestial or connected to the game directly. Plus they seem to remember who Kitsune is.

Im betting at some point Tarot will be invited over and they'll all figure out who the fox kits were originally, and probably just tease them about it.
Re: 2020/04/27 - Buried Treasure
I think that could happen, but I don't think this early. I think if their past becomes known, it'll be a few arcs from now.KathYohneke wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 6:29 pm Im betting at some point Tarot will be invited over and they'll all figure out who the fox kits were originally, and probably just tease them about it.
