Re: Rick's non-comic Housepets art
I would say no because today's comic is in the archives whereas the first post of this topic said it's for pictures you would otherwise have to go off-site to see. That's not to say however that someone can't color it in, though It's a REFOOT! (a REFur project rebOOT) might be a better place to post such a creation.
The cape comes with the promotion.

To see whether or not they will be able to hold their soda well.
Re: Rick's non-comic Housepets art
Shoot!! I never got to see the spring ones!! Where were all those located you guys?
That's my idea anyways.
I have been wondering about a fall/autumn & winter version. Would they even be girls? Would they be Huskies? Would the even be dogs? I feel like winter being the complete OPPOSITE of summer, aka warm and inviting, and often symbolically depicted as a girl, were winter is cold and unwelcoming, and depicted as a boy. So in a bit of irony, since Huskies are WINTER dogs, and these dogs are girls and from heaven and lovey-duby, I would say the winter and autumn would be male cats with a special orange (with bits of red and yellow) colored cat for fall, and a white and sky blue for winter cat, and make them very anti love and affections, and make them from the evil underworld, as a good contrast from spring and summer. Basically night and day in every regard. And make their species a hot dessert or tropical sort of domestic cat.Champion Wallace wrote:The full art for book 10.
The markings between the eyes are the same as Spring's so I can't say for sure if it's the lighting or if there really is a celestial husky named Fall. I think the tag on the pillow says "Never ever remove ever".
That's my idea anyways.
Re: Rick's non-comic Housepets art
Winter and Autumn as male infernals from Pandemonium? Hmm, okay, idea - Eudoant comes to earth with his two huskies searching for the li'l Dino-Demon to bring him back to the underworld. Such an infernal intrusion complicates the balance of the Celestial and Infernal domains in the Terrestrial world, leading the Authorities to dispatch Cerberus with her canine assistants, Spring and Summer. Craig and Draig discover these intruders and hope to convince one side or the other to restore them to demi-god status in exchange for their help. As conflict threatens, the Celestial huskies come up with a truly Celestial solution - turn the missing minion search case over to a band of mortals experienced in dealing with earth-bound spirits.... That actually does sound like something that would be very interesting! I hope Rick reads this!
Re: Rick's non-comic Housepets art
Eh, still prefer them to be cats, and winter & fall colored themed, but other than that? Seems fine.

I just want another arc to be started that focuses on the K-9 Unit.

Of course they'd be seasonally pigmented. Although having them as huskies would fit the sequence, I'd have no problem with them being cats - the strip could use some more active and distinctive feline characters. (Sorry, folks, the Bigglesworth mob doesn't really count unless Rick does a story which makes some of them a bit more individualized as personalities. At least, so thinks I.)

If more active and distinct feline characters is what you are looking for, maybe we will see the return of Fiddler and Keys and they could be made more prominent.

That is true and it doesn't fit the theme you are going for but you do have to admit it is really nice and gives you a good idea of where Rick could go. I like the overprotective brothers situation an incredibly much.
Re: Rick's non-comic Housepets art
That's an idea - it might help getting them a little away from the frustrated musician role. Maybe they could get arrested for performing in public or making a public disturbance and Keene decides to comes their defence while they drive the K9 office crazy. Or Peanut could take a music lesson from them that rapidly goes south.Amazee Dayzee wrote:If more active and distinct feline characters is what you are looking for, maybe we will see the return of Fiddler and Keys and they could be made more prominent.

I think I wanna see the latter only because Peanut completely botching everything and make Fiddler and Keys go insane would be funny to see and I wanna know how far Peanut could push them. xD
Re: Rick's non-comic Housepets art
Been a while since anything was added to this. Rick has done another round of Patreon sketches, and a rather wholesome one was included in the batch.

Wonder if Cerberus uses her recipe for chocolate chip cookies?

I'd be more likely to think that Mrs. McGillicuddy uses CERBERUS's recipes to be honest.
Re: Rick's non-comic Housepets art
Though the idea of a mortal's cookie recipe literally being fit for a banquet in Heaven is funny.

Though not sure if Mrs. McGillicuddy would use Cerberus's since I don't think she wants her cookies or pastries to literally be to die for.

Is Mrs. MacGuillicuddy the mother of Betty Crocker?

It would make more sense if it was the other way around as Betty Crocker is about 99 years old.
Re: Rick's non-comic Housepets art
Another Patreon sketch Rick did that I somehow missed on Twitter.
Even in another style, Marion gets the literal short end of the stick. Or maybe he was already shorter than Lois. Also, they may want to drink that soda responsibly.

I think Bronson is just a total tool and wouldn't inflict that sort of bodily harm to Marion.

He certainly wouldn't do anything to Marion if if he didn't want to make a bobcat very angry with him.
