Those are some strong feelings Fox, let’s talk about them
Re: 2020/12/11 - Should Have Read The Fine Print
Ah, a nice shot of Foxs' tonsils. Not arc of frustration is complete without it. I guess I was wrong that we'd jump to other characters, so I hope Mungo, Sping and summer get him sorted out.

Of course helping makes him happy,
why did we expect otherwise?
Mungo needs to feel useful here;
you can see it all in his eyes.
Some people just can’t do nothing;
you can tell these dog’s of action.
Only from service to others
do they draw their satisfaction.
Can friends have punch ups in Heaven?
Can they work out their little odds?
Can they show anger in the peace
or find the patience of the Gods?
why did we expect otherwise?

Sounds like Spring and Summer aren't really in on it, but they'll be happy to roll with it!

Oh how I love Mungo Never wants to rest

Say, Mungo, was your travel agent a tall, emaciated, four-eared deerlike chap? Poor Fox, guess you'll always have the memories.

So, Mungo prefers to work 24/7, even on vacation? Sounds a little like me

It really doesn't surprise me that Heaven has just as much bureaucratic nonsense as our world.
Re: 2020/12/11 - Should Have Read The Fine Print
Indeed, why are you there, Mungo? I see, since your job is to be a therapy dog, you accepted that. Anyway, you're disturbing a nice private moment between them, Mungo... Spring and Summer were already being his therapy dogs. Poor Fox, he was just relaxing, he doesn't want to talk about his feelings...

As much as I do like Mungo and know that he is going to be able to help Fox out and deal with his issues, at this moment I would like to throw a canoe at him for interrupting Sprumox (Spring/Summer/Fox) date night.

Sounds to me like Mungo's a bit of a workaholic and you might be too if you identify with that.

Seriously, Spring and Summer should not be happy with this. Mungo is obviously not helping; in fact, I'd say he's causing Fox more frustration than anything else. Some people, and I suppose animals, too, need to just shut up and relax sometimes. Yes, talking about things can be good, if done willingly and appropriately. But forcing someone to speak before he's ready can be very harmful. If you force someone to speak, you're going to get a response that's more emotional than thought-out. You'll force half-thought-out concepts and ideas to come out before the speaker has even realized what he's said.
If Spring and Summer don't interject, and NOW, I imagine Fox is going to say something raw, painful, and hurtful.
I don't think Fox is really hiding from his problems; he's just taking his time to face them slowly. And personally, I think that's fine. Better to think things through.

Mungo really disagrees with that it looks like then even though he is trying to help but forcing Fox into doing it when he is not ready is gonna be a huge detriment.

Fox is NEVER ready to talk about his feelings. As Sabrina knows, it ALWAYS has to be forced out of him. And then he feels better.

I think Fox freely discusses his feelings with King, though. So Fox isn't closed off to it all the time.Welsh Halfwit wrote: ↑Sat Dec 12, 2020 3:46 am Fox is NEVER ready to talk about his feelings. As Sabrina knows, it ALWAYS has to be forced out of him. And then he feels better.

I wonder if this is also going to be a therapy session for Mungo.

Hey look a little free time on my day off from work! Time to write a poem...
The stars are out, it's really late,
Mungo thinks it's the perfect date
For therapy for his friend,
Fox, on the other paw, wants it to end.
He just wants to have some fun
With the huskies for whom he's number one,
But he's plainly clearly stressed,
Mungo wants to figure out the rest.
You're a wonderful person! You can do this! Yes, you, person reading this!

To be fair, Mungo needs to learn a bit about boundaries since it seems like he doesn't have any.

I think it’s how he was raised so it’s a little hard for him to overcome. I’m hoping that, if he hasn’t already, he learns to open up about his feelings, might help him find a boy/girlfriend.Welsh Halfwit wrote: ↑Sat Dec 12, 2020 3:46 am Fox is NEVER ready to talk about his feelings. Having Sabrina flirt with me might not cure my complexes but it'd sure raise my mood a lot, too.Welsh Halfwit wrote: ↑Sat Dec 12, 2020 3:46 am Fox is NEVER ready to talk about his feelings. As Sabrina knows, it ALWAYS has to be forced out of him. And then he feels better.

Bill doesn't come across as someone who talks much about his feelings. I guess some of that's rubbed off on Fox.trekkie wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 7:15 amI think it’s how he was raised so it’s a little hard for him to overcome. Bill, though, seems to have found his niche. Fox, on the other hand, can't seem to shake that haunting sense of incompletion. Not unlike a lot of us.

In that case it might be possible to for him to NEVER find out what completes him. Then his next journey will be to find out what way he can have to actually deal with that so he can move forward.
