I love this one. It's probably my all-time favorite Spot comic.

There's Dissension in the ranks.
Billy wouldn't work by reason of Dr. Horrible, unless it's a direct homage.
I kinda liked Beelzebark.

"Shut up" is not a very nice thing to say to a detective, you know. Or a former vice president.
...He's using a gun because he's hypnotized to be evil. Evil people use guns. Duh.

I suppose that, too, would be acceptable... too bad someone who's obviously not evil is stuck with such a loaded name, though.Sinder wrote:no wait

I love Panel 6 its great "Oh No?" The last panel is also awesome. Also it looks like Peanut might know German (and Stripe does but that's much less important.) along with Akkadian (I think or was that only dream Peanut?)
Re: Arc #34: The Adventures of Stripe
I was totally surprised to suddenly read german

What is this you suddenly reappear and that's all you can say to me? I thought we had more than that.EchoFireant wrote:Oh shush Brawler. No one likes Jim Jim

Also, no, because that would defy some TV trope that I don't know but I bet Sleet does.

I'm not familiar with such a trope. I am flattered that I am considered the local trope master/mistress, however.

If I'm correct, it's a reference to Freud, though Freud was Austrian, not German.Alex wrote:Why is the hypnotist German >_> ? He doesn't seem like a smart guy... but then again, who is smart in Spot?
