I don't know what that means, but I'm definitely male xor female.

Re: Male or Female
i want to mash male and female together in order to give you a makeshift in-between gender, but it's kind of moot since female already has 'male' in it
I was going to make a joke but then I did.

Re: Male or Female
The least offensive word I can think of is "androgynite." Which is not actually in the dictionary, but it was used in Penny Arcade so it must be real.

Wouldn't the word be alien?

Re: Male or Female
I am a male (with much regret from my mother, she wanted a daughter). Though I have the urge to point out that Haru is a unisex name so it can be used for both males and females.
Alex is definatly right, discussing genders is a topic because of the fact that there are people that feel they are the wrong gender. Personally I don't see gender as an important factor other than the fact that females can get pregnant. Its really the only reason to treat them differently, and only when they obtain that said status. Though this is only my opinion of course.Alex wrote:Discussing genders is a topic.

Re: Male or Female
I think that’s because a lot of parents want their daughters to act girly, and therefore push feminine ideas towards them. It's not meant to be wrong but to a degree it is. I mean the little baby girl always gets pink and the little baby boy always gets blue. So comic's are generally associated with boys so the mass majority are suppressed just enough to make males more dominant within the community. Give it time the effects will wear off, and females won't stand by and watch. If you've ever seen a women angry you'll know what I mean...I just noticed how sexist what I said sounded, though it isn't meant to be. So I'll apologize if anyone find’s this offensive.Alex wrote:Aaand updated. More guys, no girls xD

Re: Male or Female
I have a feeling Housepets! has a lot more female readers than most webcomics. I think it's more a trait of the internet than the comic that's to blame. Males just come out to talk a lot more than females do.

Re: Male or Female
I think it's caught in the middle really, because of the fact that some young girls want that type of attention while other don't. I'd personally only make a girls room pink and a boys room blue because at first glance I can never tell what gender a baby is. I find it hard to see any differences.Ebly wrote:this is changing more and more, latelyHaru Totetsu wrote:I think that’s because a lot of parents want their daughters to act girly, and therefore push feminine ideas towards them. My mom's brought up the point that if you don't know a baby's gender, to paint the room yellow. SLEET! Everything you own is yellow, correct? (I'm joking, of course.)

You can't assume anything from colors. Except that they help me study. X3 Photographic memory does better with highlighter colors, as opposed to black and white notes.
