Technical Difficulties

Post by Onlythebassist »

OK, I dunno whether this topic has been brought up before, but he goes anyway...

When I was on the site a few days ago, I was browsing the main page and saw just how long it was down the page. This was odd considering there was nothing there. That same night, I was on my iPod Touch looking at a few sites and went on the Housepets main page. I was surprised to find that there is a ton of features hidden on my computer for some reason :?

Anyone got any advice??

If he was using IE 6 that browser doesn't render anything according to any standards known to sane men.

FFx not working? Try running it in safe mode and it'll give you an option to remove all settings/plugins. That saved my FFx one time.

I once had a bug on my iPod Touch where it showed that no users were online (Safari). The problem was fixed after refreshing the page a few times.

You just have to dig Chrome, it's made by aliens.

Google is even more powerful than i thought. They actually traveled back in time, planted ideas of Google fame and fortune into pop culture, in an attempt to secure their success in the past. Very smart. Very smart indeed.

Its a matter of personal preference, I prefer firefox as it has a handfull of plugins that are not available for chrome. (such as tamper data, its not possible in chrome as modifying outgoing HTTP requests is not possible)

i use ad block and noscript for mozilla. Noscript is amazing. It stops any kind of unwanted scripts on a website meaning it catches pop ups, redirects, downloads, and others.
